Thanks I had my scan last week though. It makes it more real when you find out the gender. Surprises and me don't mix well lol

I read a good idea somewhere that if you are in 2 minds - ask the sonographer to write it down and seal it in an envelope without telling you at your scan - then if you ever fancy knowing at a later date - you can just open the envelope!

I am glad I found out - I hate not knowing things and I like to plan. It makes choosing a name easier as well.

But obviously some people like a surprise - but it wasn't for me - I have always been the one that pokes my Xmas pressies before Xmas day!!!:D

The bulk of my bump is below my belly button. Lol I just did the Bounty test and that said that I'm having a boy as well. Spooky lol

Ooo, Bounty says girl. I think my bump does start under my boobs, but I'm pretty sure the bit above my belly button is cake/crisps/flab, rather than baby Not sure if that makes a difference? Only just over a week til we (hopefully) find out

Apparently cravings for sweet things indicate a girl, so I'm guessing a pink bump for you, Mrsj. And looking good for blue, snozberry. It'll be interesting to see how accurate the bump theory and cravings are.

Actually, I'm mostly off sweet things at the moment, which is most unlike me. I made a Christmas cake and finally ate the last piece this week, but I didn't particularly enjoy it (I'd put too much effort into it to let it go to waste ) I'm much keener on savoury things, which suggests boy. Then again, my major craving with DS was red grapes, which would surely come under "sweet things"?

Dammit! I just want to know!

We went for a surprise the first time, and it was nice to still have the excitement of finding out the flavour after the hard work was done - though the midwife did hold him in front of my face and say "oo, you've got one with accessories" to announce the gender! :rotfl:

I'm pretty convinced cub is a boy, have been for weeks. I still don't have enough of a bump to actually tell though I want to be huge!
