I would love to have a bath but, unfortunately, we don't have a bath tub
I am going to start going to an aqua natal class so, hopefully, that might offer some help.0 -
Hi all, been a quiet weekend on here, hope you're all ok?
I am 17+2 and since I woke up this morning I've had a strange feeling in my tummy, kinda achey/crampy. it's worse when I move suddenly and not like a really bad painful pain. Could this be stretching pains or could it be something i need to worry about? Thanks x0 -
Wife is 19w tomorrow - the weeks are really starting to fly by! She is starting to find the baby kicking a bit of a pain! More about her being able to rest, as soon as she finds a comfy position in the evening baby starts to wiggle and disrupts her rest, and late into the night as well she is woken up by the kicks!0

It probably isn't anything to worry about, but why don't you phone the midwife just to get some advice? When I had cramps last week I called the midwife and they ended up making me an appointment at the hospital for a scan just to check everything was ok. It's probably nothing, but you'll feel loads better once you talk to someone and get some advice. x0 -
Dippy a few days ago I had a cramp like feeling on my right side of my abdomen, not terrible but definitely distracting. It went away after a few hours. I assumed that was ligaments stretching and it hasn't come back. Not sure if that sounds the same as yours? Not a bad idea to phone the midwives anyway if you're worried!
I am feeling quite well and am now 18+3 - agree that the weeks are flying by! I haven't felt the baby move yet, neither flutters nor a kick. I think that is quite normal for first time though, right?
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Glad you are feeling well Pippa! I am 15+2 and still feeling absolutely awful! It is really getting me down now
The Nausea is still terrible and I get these blinding headaches too. Is anyone else still suffering past the 14 week mark? Everyone kept on telling me 12 weeks you'll feel better, 14 weeks you'll feel better, now they're saying 16 weeks you'll feel better...I just feel like it's never going to go away and let me enjoy my pregnancy!0 -
Hi, yeah Pippa it is kinda like that, it's not so bad now but I have hardly moved from my desk all day! I started feeling some movements last week but I don't feel it all the time and still sometimes can't differentiate between baby and wind!lol. I am in work tomoro too but if i am still getting the pains on weds I will ring up, just don't want to make a fuss you know?
Lovecake i'm sorry you're still so ill, fingers crossed it goes soon for you. If it makes you feel any better I haven't been ill at all but I'm not exactly feeling 'glowing' either!0 -

I get that as well - makes my belly feel almost like a detached part of me - I also get it when I bend to one side or reach down from time to time. I think its just the growth sprits that our bits are making at this time.
I also wake some mornings with crampy feelings in my legs and it takes me a while to get them going! Ho hum - the joys of "blooming" eh!
I've got my 2nd scan tomorrow - I'll be 19+1 - looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time - I have been stupidly using Google to search for all the things they can discover at the 2nd scan and I am forever a pessimist!:(
Anyone else got a scan this week? Any bets on me being blue or pink?0 -
I Hate Dida - hope all goes well at your scan tomorrow! Step away from Google.....! (not that I can talk, I've been doing exactly the same, naughty). My scan is two weeks today, I can't wait, am very nervous about it and keep having horrible dreams about something being wrong, but at the same time cannot wait to see the baby on the screen again!
Following on from our 'big bump' discussion the other week.. I saw friend yesterday who is ten weeks ahead of me, and I swear we are about the same size!!
I'm going to bet pink for you, absolutely no idea why, but I have just decidedLet us know!!
