Sounds like you're doing everything you can SplanK and being a wonderful support. I'd agree with going to appointments too - sometimes the emotions can get in the way of listening properly to information so two sets of ears we always better. I hope things become clearer from your GP.
• Good Afternoon,

Big hugs to SplanK and all others who are going through some issues at the min :(

I have a few silly questions but thought that you guys would be the best to ask. I'm now 24 weeks & 3 days and I'm having quite a bit of pain in my right side, prob just up from or near to my appendix. I've go@gled and it appears it might be round ligament pain. Last night I got in from work and went to lie in bed as I could hardly walk or move due to random spasms of pain. Do you think this is what it might be? I'm off to see MW next Friday so am hoping I can last till then without bothering the docs. Baby moving fine (far too fine on some days, ouch!!)

Other question is should it really be this difficult to get around and about??? I'm knackered after hardly doing anything!!!! Its really frustrating, seeing as I'm so used to racing around doing this that and t'other!!! I know I prob need to slow down but I'm not used to it!!!

Lastly and hopefully not TMI but after I've had a wee, my bladder seems to tense up for about 30 seconds, is quite painful and then all seems fine. Again, have looked on the net and some are saying it could just be pressure from the uterus being on the bladder when full and then the bladder just "breathing" when empty.

Dont want to sound like a silly worrier, so apologies if I do!!

Take Care
Lou x
But I want a golden goose daddy and I want it right NOW!!!!!

Yes Verucca dear. :rotfl:

just want a house, im 24 weeks and have been having the same pain on my left side though, i had a appointment today with midwife and the consultant, so mention these today, he press into my side but said he couldnt feel ne thing , so they think its just me pulling a round ligenment when i move to quick, sometimes i feel like i cant walk upright when i have these pain.

and feeling knackered once you have done things is normal, even walking up the stairs make me out of breath sometimes.

is this your first child aswell?

Had my 24 week appointment today, was all good, i feel huge but said my belly looks the right size. but what is the right size?

i havent got to go back for 12 week !! so at 36 weeks im having a growth scan and ive gota make that big decision on how im giving birth, im so confused at the moment..

I have been back at work for two days and I feel as though I have run a marathon in a deep sea divers costume - on every single continent as well. Jeez, I am tired! I am praying that, once I get back into the routine, I will be ok.

I must say - it has been strange trying to act like a professional whilst the little un is moving about.

Wow that's a long time. Do you not have any idea of how you want to give birth? Hospital/Home, Active/Bed/Water, Epidural/No Epidural?

i though 12 weeks is a long wait aswell , but i suppose, i know the drill as been there done that lol

I've been back to work this week as well, though not feeling too tired.

I did my first exercise since 6 weeks when the sickness started this week too. I am sooooooooo unfit  I could only manage 10 laps of the pool, with big rests in between. But going to try to keep swimming now for as long as possible so I'm in good shape for the birth (hopefully!).

Hope everyone is doing ok!

Hello!
I'm puffy!
My ankles are becoming cankles. My tummy has definately grown and I have now bought (to try) some non wired bras. I'm hitting the pregnant lady style now. I've bought a couple from M&S sale. Haven't gone to nursing bras yet as I think I'll need to be remeasured for those nearer the time, but went for non-wired padded, to give me a bit of shape, ut not to dig in. My underwire is just starting to rub on the bigger size I'd gone into.
Is anyone else having to put their feet up more to stop puffy ankles. 24 wks seems quite early for this, but I don't really know. I do stand up alot at work, so need to sit down more I think.
Got the details for Anti natal classes, so going to get booked into them. There are 3 evening sessions, and then a tour of the labour ward. Dates are such that the ward tour will only be on the 13th April, due on 29th... oh well if the baby comes 16 days early, I'll be in the right place!
Starting to research buggies/ travel systems a little more now. All looks a bit complicated to me. We really like the Micralite Toro, but can't really find may reviews, anyone know anyone that has one (other than Michael Moon pushes one around in Eastenders!)
Only 11 weeks left in work 'til mat leave begins (well a bit of hoiday allocation 1st) eeeek!
Hope you're all well and sickness is subsiding for those suffering.
L.xxx

SplanK - haven't replied directly as don't really know what to say to make you feel any better. Sounds like you're keeping a really open mind and you've got to just take the route of what will be will be. To be monitoring the baby closer can only be a good thing though, they can act on anything they need to.
Feel free to come on here and share your concerns and feelings, I know it must be difficult to voice all your worries with you OH if you're trying to be supportive to her. Babies are funny things though. The odds are they are more normally healthy and well developed than anything wrong, even if some test results can be suspicious. Fingers crossed for you both.x
