One of my colleagues at work today told me that my boss's daughter has had 2 of the more expensive pushchair brands stolen from various places, and that they're more targetted by thieves than the cheaper (lower-end) options. Made me think about the way prams etc get left at the entry to cinemas, planes, trains, coaches, theatres, restaurants.... I wouldn't want to spend £800 on a nice pram, only for some other lovely person to walk off with it while I'm not looking...
(I know it's not that likely, but I would be very unhappy if I had to claim on the insurance because someone stole this...)
oooh! that's areally good point! I will have to keep an eye on mine. I'm always paranoid about getting things nicked anyway though. I think that's because I lived in London until I was 25 and have been mugged twice.0 -
Anyone suffering from persistent headaches? I'm 16 weeks and can't seem to go more than a day without one
Aww sorry to hear this. I am deffo getting more headaches than usual but not every day - maybe twice a week - and very dull ones - not so bad that I have to go to bed but very annoying.
Sometimes I wake up feeling quite dehydrated in the mornings. DH says I should drink more at night but I am up at least twice in the night peeing so don't want to drink anymore.
Do any of you do a really long pee then go to sleep, then wake up a few hours later with another really long pee and then another massive long one in the morning? I wonder where all the pee is coming from - I don't think I drank that much. It's really weird.
My cousin in Oz who is 3 weeks ahead of me texted the other day to say that she got up seven times that night to pee! That sounds horrendous! I hope it doesn't happen to me!!:rotfl:0 -

We're about two-thirds water anyway, so even if you're not drinking you can still pee a fair bit - it just gets sucked out of your tissues. When you're pregnant your kidneys start working extra hard which is why you're producing more urine, regardless of how much you drink.
Make sure you keep hydrated, no matter how irritating it is! You're going to pee a lot anyway so you might as well not bother trying to limit your intake - it won't make that much difference!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
I'm keeping as hydrates as I can but I can't drink or pee from 9-12 and 2-5 most dad so maybe it is dehydration. Fed uplove you lots like jelly tots0

Yeah I'm on clinic. A very hot clinic treating patients all Mormon. Apparently it's a cross infection risk to drink water. Sometimes I lucky an manage a pee in between patients but nope no water!love you lots like jelly tots0

I'm with fluffnutter on this...
rjh090384... you need to explain to your work that if you don't drink enough, and pee enough, then you'll cause yourself and your baby a whole heap of problems. During pregnancy, they have to do risk assessments and ensure that you and the unborn baby don't get affected by your work - or if there are any issues, they have to take reasonable steps to help. If that means a 10 minute break for a power wee, and a bottle of water out back which you can drink (measuring the half or litre to track your water intake) then so be it.
My DW is constantly dehydrated at the best of times. I keep giving her sports bottles full of water to take with her to keep her hydrated. She is going to the loo loads, but at least the headaches have gone...Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
It's not work its Uni and apparently risk to patients etc it's ridiculous. The water from tap is undrinkeabke and bottles are banned. Trust me I've tried!love you lots like jelly tots0
