    Hello.
I'm 23 weeks today. I'm getting tired easy, but apart of it, I'm OK. I've seen 6 weeks baby today, looked tiny. What to do with such a small, vunerable creature?

    Just a thought...

One of my colleagues at work today told me that my boss's daughter has had 2 of the more expensive pushchair brands stolen from various places, and that they're more targetted by thieves than the cheaper (lower-end) options. Made me think about the way prams etc get left at the entry to cinemas, planes, trains, coaches, theatres, restaurants.... I wouldn't want to spend £800 on a nice pram, only for some other lovely person to walk off with it while I'm not looking...

(I know it's not that likely, but I would be very unhappy if I had to claim on the insurance because someone stole this...)

    How about this?

I saw it when I spent my Saturday morning going through the paper catalogue and marking pages of things that I like... Much better than doing it online though as it's all too easy to buy in the heat of the moment! :)

Hi all, haven't been on for ages, sorry! Need to read back at least 5 pages! Hope everyone is keeping well.

I've been signed off work with SPD, feeling blooming miserable at the moment but hopefully things will get better soon :)

Good news anyway - have reached 24 weeks today :j:j:j

Take care all and see you on the main thread

Had my sixteen week check up at appointment with midwife. She found heartbeat for a second but not long enough for other half to hear but she could see baby moving in my tummy so wasn't worried. Baby kept protesting against Doppler pressure kicking it :) asked about headaches she said go see doctor lol. I don't see her again till 28 weeks scary!!

Hi everyone, i am 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 5. I had my scan today, I thought I was 12+4 but my dates got slighly put back. I have been getting lots of headaches as well and I am trying to remember if we are allowed paracetamol. You think I would know by now!!! I have been really really tired trying to get on with everything while looking after my other 4 children but my house is upside down so im not answering the door to visitors at the moment ha ha. With each of my pregnancies i have always had to blow my nose every morning as soon as I wake (sorry tmi) but I have never once heard anyone else have this symptom. Please tell me im not alone in this one!

no drippy nose but i have heard that you can get pregnancy rhinitis.

i think i felt the baby kick for first time last night, was laying in bed and felt a popping feeling in my stomach a few times....maybe its just wind, wont know till i feel it again. 18+4 today:)

I hadnt heard of pregnancy rhinitis before but I have just googled it and discovered that is what I have. That also explains my headaches. It just shows that even as a 5th time Mum you can still learn from first time mums to be! Thank you! Make the most of getting sleep just now as that is a luxury you lose when (and if) you have more children.

If you think the headaches are related to rhinitis you could try hanging your head over a bowl of hot water (with a towel over your head to keep the steam in). This might be a useful non-drug alternative to alleviate the pain.

Paracetamol is fine in pregnancy. Codeine is OK too although I'm not sure I'd risk it without a doctor's say-so. It can make you very constipated (not great seeing as you're often constipated anyway!) plus it's not advised towards the end of pregnancy because it's an opiate and can make the baby drowsy.
