Hi all.... (yes, we're still here...)
Well, what's happened with us, we've had a crazy few weeks. The scan at week 19 went well, we were finally able to get a decent scan and saw that, at the time, everything went well. The scan even showed the blood going through the heart, and how it was pumping everything through the body - was so cute (and kinda scary).
Then, the following week, my wife lost her job, under incredibly acrimonious grounds, so we now have an employment fight/tribunal to go through. The best thing is that her boss questioned whether she is even pregnant, saying that she assumes that she's pregnant. So we're going to have a fun few months now, sorting all this out.
We have a huge mission ahead of us now - with one single topic to sort out. Forget about the pregnancy, and all the kicks and punches and cartwheels that the baby's doing inside my wife. And make sure that the solicitors do what they need to do to get her ex-boss to realise that he's screwed up. And in doing this, make sure that stress is not a problem, that we get decent sleep and food and take it easy (which is easier said than done, I know).
Hope you're all having a better time than we are...
PS thanks to the kind person who sent me the PM reminding me that people are concerned as to the absence since our scan. Much appreciated. You know who you are!Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
Well it's been a tough week here. Starting to feel better after Antibiotics and oh has said as he off next week we will go down Friday afternoon to his hometown for weekend stay with his mum so that will be lovely. Hopefully take some stress off me and get pampered
jut a long old drive of around 3 hours to get there but otherwise I'm excited. Back at Uni Monday and I know I'm gonna be pooped. Hope everyone ok xx
love you lots like jelly tots0 -
Evening, hope people are enjoying their saturday evenings and preg symtoms arent causing too many problems. had a nap for about 2 hours today eeekk where does the time go. slept really well last night as well, gone are the times of needing to eat in the middle of the night.
my sister gave me her bandos yesterday - these strechy pieces of fabric which you wear around your bump so you can wear your normal clothes for longer, works well as using my trouser extender didnt feel that secure on its own. she also gave me more baby equip, my house is filling up.
OH brought a cute vest from H & M today when he went to do food shop, made me feel all warm inside:)
off to jimmy spices tonight, not sure if anyone has one of these in their towns, i enjoy the choice of different cuisines but i think their puddings are pants. anyway lots of food so cant go wrong.
happy feelings to you all

Hi all,
I've not been reading the posts since Wednesday as I've had family visiting so I hope everyone's ok *hugs*
I techically reached 24 weeks on Fridayso shouldn't be here anymore but if no one minds I'd like to stick around at least until next Friday when I'm 24 weeks by 'my' dates.
After spending hours in Kiddicare yesterday morning we narrowed down our pram choices to three then went to my OH's parents for a cup of tea and a break before wandering back and making a decision.
Today we ordered a UppaBaby Vista
Pram choices have been driving me up the wall for ages so really happy we've chosen one though it feels a bit scary as it's our first proper baby purchaseHopefully order the car seat and fixtures later in the week.
hope everyone's having a good weekend

hi all, thought i would pop in and say hello!
This is my first baby and i'll be 14 weeks on tuesday. still really feeling the sickness which i'm hoping will stop soon and can't stop worrying which i'm guessing is normal too! i keep thinking i didn't ask anything at the scan so am counting down the days to 16 week app when i can hopefully hear the heartbeat, fingers crossed! guess i will go with symptoms of much bigger b00bs and growing belly to tell me i am pregnant still and not just feeling unwell!
hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancies and congratulations! i don't really post much but will be reading the thread with interest to see what to expect in future weeks!
good luck all and best wishes xx0
