Hi all, hope everyone's had a good day.
I had been planning on going to the local Children's Centre drop in group for pre-birth to 12mths today in an attempt to meet some new people but it wasn't to be.
Spent most of the day curled up in bed feeling worn out, shaky, and nauseaous with a headache.
My OH had a study day at home so spent the afternoon lying next to me reading his notes out loud to me and baby
Still not feeling particularly well so OH has offered to cook once he gets back from his run
Picked up the Emma's Diary bump to birth pack from Argos yesterday and today got the mamas and papas catalogue with a £5 gift card which may prove to be useful when we go shopping with the inlaws on Saturday.
Need to sit down with my OH before Saturday morning to work out what we need from a pram, what would be nice and what our max budget is. I know prams are one of those items which depend almost entirely on the individuals preference but any recommendations/comments are welcome.
So far we've got as far as saying it needs to be suitable from newborn, I have to be able to fold it/lift it myself and it needs to be suitable for walking around town/doing basic shopping. It needs to be able to fit into the car for when we visit family/friends but as our car boot is HUGE I don't think that's going to be an issue.
Welcome to Chrissy and Rjh0 -
I've got a Silvercross linear freeway. Folds from pram to pushchair so no separate carrycot. Folds easily, does parent facing as a pushchair, comes with footmuff, changing bag and raincover. It was on special at Toysrus, but not sure what the current price is?0

I got a mamas and papas switch. Similar to silver cross but a bit lighter I think. We got ours second hand including ALL ACCESOROES AND CAR SEAT for £150. Would have cost £900 new and it's gorgeous!love you lots like jelly tots0

I'm on a mission tomorrow to get some maternity trousers for work. It's my first baby so I'm not too sure what shops stock maternity wear. I know new look and next do but any other stores worth looking??0

Hi Betty, I'm hoping to hit Matalan over the weekend as I know they have a maternity department and they're not too pricey. Good luck!0 -
