Anyone else had a return of their morning sickness? Mine went away at around 14 weeks and I've felt great up until a few days ago (19 weeks today). I was sick on Monday morning and again this morning, plus I felt very queasy yesterday and smells were bothering me again. It's not as bad as it was in my first trimester but it's definitely back again.

*lots of hugs* I'm pretty sure you're not dying.
I didn't get morning sickness in the early stages of pregnancy but started getting really queasy and nauseous at about 17 weeks and still feel a bit like that now at 21 weeks. I suck mints when it starts which seems to help me.0 -

Thank you. I do stress about stuff. My blood pressure's quite high (although not medicated) and when the midwife was talking to me about pre-eclampsia she mentioned that it can affect the liver and one of the symptoms was nausea. So I've got myself in a bit of a tickle. Which is not good for my blood pressure!
At least I know the baby's OK because he/she keeps gnawing on my bladder and booting my cervix! Think I'll go and do some yoga"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Just popping in to say I felt my baby moving from 15 weeks and its my first. i felt definate kicks from 19 weeks too. You probably will only feel it in a small area as its only tiny and your womb is only stretched to the size it needs to be for baby and the placenta, it doesn't have loads of room to move from side to side and baby doesn't change position just because you have. When you're further on and may need to get baby to move if its in the wrong position (ie. breech or back to back) they tell you certain things to try to get it to turn but it usually takes a while for it to work...if at all!0

This is my second but from about 15 weeks I was feeling movements all on one side (very low down on my left), its only in the last few weeks that little man has started to branch out to other areas so it could very well be babe moving
Fluffnutter try not to worry, I am 21 weeks and get nauseous if I haven't eaten for a while, midwife said it might be due to my blood sugar levels dropping so recommended eating little and often, that seems to have helped0 -
Maybe i'm not going as mad as I thought then! I felt it again last night in the same area in bed. Although I had put it off as I had horrendous wind although what I thought wasn't babe wasn't moving to another area so I thought that was babe and it does feel a bit different to wind really for me.0

Rebecca - really nice if you are feeling baby, thats my next thing to look forward to
Ms Excited - definately more relaxed now that have seen baby and no problems detected. i am under cosultant care though and see her at the end of the month due to a severe disability in my nephew (arthrogyposis) i think this isnt on my side of the family but still a little worrying, not quite sure if anything would show on early scan re this condition.
Glad to hear peoples 20 week scans went well, mine is in less than 6 weeks eeekk
have started telling everyone now, still a few people to tell at work, i am esp worried about telling the consultant i work for but hopefully it will go fine, must do it tomorrow, i keep putting it off.
hope everyone has a great evening

Hi can I join please! I had my first scan last Friday and they dated me 3 days further on than thought so today I am 12+5 and due on 11th August.
Symptom-wise, have had pretty bad sickness since New Year but had a bad cold over the weekend and hadn't been sick since Friday and was feeling better. Thought I was turning the corner but had a bad day yesterday and was sick when I got home from work. Am hoping I'll start feeling better soon!
