I could do with someone waving a wand over me that allows me to be one of these, healthy and glowing pregnant people!!!
On a happier note, we move on Friday and then I get to start thinking about decorating the nursery, yay!!! Anyone else got plans for nursery yet? x x
I had the flu jab almost 2 weeks ago and have felt rubbish since. Very chesty, full of a cold, being sick when coughing, generally run down. It is only today (on my birthday) that I am starting to feel a bit more normal.
Gillyx not sure if it is you but I have had my scan date changed from 10th Nov to 4th Nov if you could just update that.
Hope you are all well ladies. Now been on for a while as I am at college 2 nights a week and a full time working mum so time a bit short lol. Plus I have just needed sleep with being run down from flu jab.
I haven't felt much movement lately, although did for about the last 3 weeks. Been pretty slow in last 4 days, in fact I don't recall any movement. I am 17 weeks on Thursday which I guess is prob why!0 -

We were like that last year and got sick of the expense in the end. Good luck with the move.0 -

I was planning on having it on one wall and then the rest of them white. My cot and nursery furniture ar all white.
love it - very unique. I am a bit arty so am going to do a mural! xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
I can't do too much in the nursery, as we only rent. Doubt i'll ever be able to afford to get on the property ladder!!! I pay £1150 rent, and when childcare comes into question, that'll be about another £1250 per month, plus everything else, no way I can save up for a house :eek:DFD February 2012

Still undecided on whether to get the flu jab...
Just to balance things out a little, I had the flu jab last Friday (7/10/11) and have had no side effects, felt fine.
They recommend it as it passes some protection on to the baby as well.
The receptionist was a little funny with me when I booked it, then the nurse was also a little funny. I know there are low stocks of the vaccine and they want to give it to the people who need it the most, but I felt a bit of a criminal having to justify myself. Even when I told the nurse I was pregnant she was still questioning me and telling me it wasn't on my notes and how pregnant was I!!! Its not my fault I'm not showing yet! :mad:Got married 13/11/10

Morning All,
Where is everyone? This is the first time EVER I've only had the once page to read to catchup?
Happy Birthday Flutterby_Lil, hope you have a lovely day!
I had my 20 week scan today, all seems to be fine.
Good luck to the Darkphaery and Lola888 who are next on the list :TWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
haha, thanks!!
Got 2 things to look forward to now (not)
GTT 10th Nov, and Anti D jab 11th Nov
GTT 28th Oct and Anti D 16th Nov for me!
My maternity leave starts 3rd Feb (my due date) and I'll take probably 8 weeks off, as you have to give 8 weeks notice of returning to work. I just have this picture of me in the labour ward on my laptop filling in the return to work form... :rotfl: I might take advantage of the 10 return to work days we can have prior to Mat leave officially ending, just work for a day or two in the two weeks before returning, as long as I'm feeling up to it.
Our holiday year runs to the end of Aug though (and I've got 35 daysplus bank holidays and some 'concessionary days') so I'll take a fair bit of holiday over the summer, or I can work from home a bit too.
Glad your scan went well Icey!0 -
I've also had the flu jab with no symptoms except a tiny bruise that took a few days to go away.
Happy Birthday flutterby!
At my GTT yesterday, the drink was all made up ready to drink and didn't seem to be made from a powder. Well, I couldn't tell if it had been :rotfl: I had to drink the glass of yellow-y liquid and then they had given me a half glass of water to also drink. It wasn't unpleasant at all......TTC #3..........0
