Thanks jcr xxx They couldn't tell me the sex as I hadn't drunk enough for them to see... the water would move baby up but because I hadn't drunk enough baby was still in my bladder which made it difficult. They told me to start drinking 2 HOURS before!

I'm not going to Bristol now luckily, they got hold of the specialist in Cardiff in the end x

I have to hold it if I can but if I do need to go I'm not to let all the fluid out. Bit hard that, once I start I can't stop LOL!!

dont get yourself too worried Sequeena(easier said than done, i know)
theyre prob just sending you to a specialist, as they will be able to see things that a general sonographer wont at 17 weeks.

well i am finding ( don't wanna jinx it. i'm starting to get a bit more energy. not falling asleep quite as often, lol.

had a really nice compliment today. although i have no bump i feel chunkier, if that make sence. but a friend said are u sure your pg ? where are u hiding it. made me feel nice , that i wasn't a frump.

been looking at cots today. not sure wether to go for a cot bed, a smaller cot or a normal cot. space isn't really a huge issue but i can't remember what sizes we bought before, lol. it all baffles me and right now i feel like winnie the pooh, instead of brains i have stuff and fluff, lol.

a school friend has just had a baby and had like the perfect labour ever and it has inspired me that i can do natural even if i cam a bit scared. seems silly talkign about more babies while being preg but i really don't want to except i might only be able 1 more baby after this one. ok so i may have this as my last, but i hate the fact i coulnd't have them instead of choosing not to have them. so having natural is so important to me.

as for this evenign tho, i'm chilling glass of chilled white wine ( just a small one) and gonna watch omg and try not to shout at the tv if someone annoys me,lol.

Evening ladies, sorry to hear the Sequeena is struggling a bit. But, as someone with only 1 kidney, i can honestly say if that is the only medical problem the baby suffers from it can be completely healthy, i've spent the last 20 years with only 1 kidney and i'm perfectly healthy!

Hope everyone else is doing well, think i'm hitting some nesting instincts, tomorrow i have to go to town to see the optitian, then the mortgage advisor, but then me and hubby are going to start decluttering the room which we want to turn into the nursery. I'm looking forward to making a start, but not looking forward to going throught the 5 box files of paperwaork, relating to various accounts, cc, loans, mortgage etc. Oh well, got to be done so may as well make a start i guess.

Hugs to all and a good foot rub to help too!

Oh sequeena. It sounds like you've been through the wars. I hope it helps to know that they're giving you the right attention. I hope the specialist can reassure you at the next scan.

Thanks for all the maternity wear comments. I hope maxis stay around too. I just hope it gets warm enough to wear the ones I have before I'm too huge to fit in them. I think once I get a definite bump I won't mind showing it but at the moment it seems like it's all fat to me and I'm trying to hide it. A funny inbetwern stage then I hope it gets better for a while and probably followed by feeling so enormous at the end that nothing feels comfortable or flattering.
