um i've having alot of period pain's. i just constantly feel like i'm about to come on. i remember having those tho in previous pregnancies. with my first i do remember it worried me until i realised it was normal. i do find if i'm laying in bed on say my left side if i turn to the right side quickly it feels like a stabbing pain in my side. takes my breath away sometimes. i just have to stop and move slowly and it then goes.

Mine feels like a dragging sensation from the inside, mainly on one side. Does that sound normal?

um, i've no idea everyone is different hun. i've not experianced that. but it doesn't mean it not normal. as i've had 3 sections i dont have much feeling on my belly , so it maybe that my insides are also less aware of feelings and pain's. as ur midwife when you see her next .

Yep that's what mine is like - can be a bit painful and make me jump sometimes too!

On the subject of bumps. I went for my wax yesterday and the girl that does it and has known me for a couple of years now said she could tell I was pg as soon as I took my coat off. That's the most definite comment I have had that I have a bump. :T

In other news, my colleague has offered me his daughter's crib for £30 and someone else at work is selling a M & P cotbed for £30. I kind of feel like I should wait until 20 week scan but these are too good offers to resist. I think I'll get them but put them at my parents house for now just in case. What does everyone think about buying things so early on?

Good bargains Claire. You're braver than me, I haven't had a wax for a couple of months because it was more painful than normal. I must make another appointment though. How have you been?

I'm still completely fine. I still feel like its not happening most of the time that's why I'm glad I'm getting a proper tummy - it makes it feel more real. Can't wait to feel baby moving too but I bet that will be a few weeks off yet.

Oooh except last night- one alarming thing happened. I think I stood up from the sofa too fast and I was literally bent double in pain. It felt just like a stich on my right hand side. It went after about a minute but my gosh it was painful. I hope it was just a stretching pain or something.

I get this already (at just under 12w) and I believe it is uterus stretching pains.... I hope anyway!
