Hi all,
Woke up with some cramping which I had not had before, I guess it;s to be expected as so far I have had it pretty easy! It does feel like period pain slightly, but passed by mid morning.
Sweetpea has taken to giving me flutters when we wake up quite regularly which is so amazing. So around 06:45-07:10 every day I can almost set by clockwork that I will feel something, so I can monitor daily now. Can't wait for when OH can feel them. i think I felt something mid morning at my desk too, so they're clearly getting more active. Then again, I had just eaten two packs of Monster Munch so either they were approving or didn't like the taste...
Ecoelle - sorry headaches are bad - have you tried 4Head to see if that helps? Also lavender essential oil in the bath - a few drops may help? I also find spraying pillow with lavender mised with water helps before sleep. Hope MW can give some advice soon, headaches are definately common as anything and the irony is we can't take anything apart from paracetamol. I have Paramol (blue packet) which doesn't affect tummy and it seems to help when I get headaches.
Claireloo / Ddebski/ Galvanizer - uh oh, I think then that my Dotty P linen trousers won't be suitable - I got the 10S and they're massive, should have got the 8. If they're meant to go under the bump as swimming as they are, I have no hope! Good thing is they ended up costing £0.80p so prob no point sending back. The emerald green dress I ordered to go with is ok, but really shows bump and I'm not used to wearing one colour all over. Plus I need shoes to go with that are comfy and pretty - a hard combo to find!
Bump shyness
I don't know if this makes any sense at all, but I almost find it too strange to wear anything that will show the bump? Of the clothes I bought I feel I need to believe the bump first, and can then work myself up to showing othersMaybe my week off will help get mentally ready as so many people will see it's more obvious then ...

I'm pretty sure they are an under bump style - put it this way if they are an over the bump then they are going to be much too short!
I'm usually a size 8 but tend to wear a 6 in Dotty P's they come up very big so I suspect you may be better off Ebaying your size 10's - there are 2 loops for a belt but if you are usually an 8 I think they will still be too bigshame cos they are quite nice trousers

afternoon all, i'm graduating up from the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread, however after having my 1st scan today i am actually 13+5.
all normal so far, severe tiredness and nauseus (sic?) all the time but apart from that all is well.
this is my 3rd baby, i have a 12 yr old son and a 4 year old daughter so i dont think i'll be finding out the sex, either will do, lol.
hope to get to know you all over the next few weeksSkint, but happy (ish):p0 -
Hi twinkle. Great news that your scan was ok. You've jumped ahead of me! I'm 13+2.0

Hi Twinkle
I'm on my 3rd baby too - have one of each already like you but have found out I am having a little girl this time round:D
I am almost 23 weeks now - glad you are keeping well x0 -
Hi Twinkle, nice to see you over here. I'm glad your scan went well. I jumped ahead slightly with my scan - sad how excited I was to be told that I was a few days further forward!
Hi everyone else, I hope your days are going well. I've had a busy one and I'm looking forward to settling down this eve. My stupid early morning wake up wasn't brill so fingers crossed I don't have it again tonight. I think that is wishful thinking as it seems to be a daily/nightly occurence these days. I do feel like I have more energy (finally). I'm not falling asleep in the evenings now and I don't seem to pass out as soon as my head hits the pillow. I must admit, I don't feel "glowing" though. I'm still spotty faced with dry skin and have an ever increasing gut despite the fact that my appetite has gone back to near normal (so still pretty good!).
I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to hear the baby's heatbeat next week. Do midewifes always check that at the 16 week appointment? What else should I expect? More blood and urine tests?
Sequeena I hope you're doing ok. It must be horrible waiting for the days to pass. At least you and bubs are being well checked and monitored.
Debs I'm excited for you reaching the 12 week mark! It is such a relief isn't it. When is your scan?
Who is next for scans? If my (lame) memory works a bit I think we have a few coming up for their 20 week scans.

Ooooo double exciting! At least it isn't too late in the day. Mine was at 11 I think and I thought it was nice because i had time to slowly get up and ready in the morning but not too much time to spend fretting.
Sending you lots of happy big healthy baby vibes :T

Hello lovely ladies (and lurking gents)!
I'm feeling unusually chipper, perhaps my energy burst is finally on it's way? Here's hoping!
Good luck Debski, hope your scan goes well!
I got my date through for my anomaly scan, April 1streally hoping my OH will make a bit of an effort to be there this time. My friend has hers on April 5th, so we agreed to go baby shopping afterwards.
And Doglover and Clairieloo: I'm keeping my eye on you, we seem to be round about the same stage (I'm due 18th Aug).
Almost the week-end, hurrah!0
