I know I shouldn't be in this thread but my first grandchild is due on the 21st Feb 2012. What I was wondering is if any of you have had a 3D scan and if so how much do they cost? I have Googled but some say as cheap as £95 and I thought they were several hundreds of pounds. Also what is the best stage of pregnancy to get one done? I'd love to treat my daughter to one. She is 15 weeks.

    - 2 x packs of size 1 nappies. 3 x packs of size 2 nappies and 3 x packs of size 3 nappies (all huggies and pampers)
    - 14 packs of wipes (various, Huggies, Johnsons and Pampers, all sensitive/pure etc)
    - 2 x packs of breast pads
    - 2 x packs of maternity pads

I think they say between 24-27 weeks is optimum for seeing everything clearly.

  • Hi all,

I'm after a bit or reassurance or advice from you lovely ladies, i'm an avid reader but not so avid poster!! :)

I'm currently 20 weeks (on friday) with baby no1, so probably paranoid and i don't really know what to expect and for the past couple of days have been getting some stomach pains.

I don't have a 'proper' bump yet, more still a B-shaped belly :D Its like the bottom bit of my B thats hurts and i can't really describe the pain, almost like a dull ache but with twinges every now and again. Also when i've been lying down or sitting for a period of time, when i get up and stretch i get a sharp pain and i had quite a bad dizzy spell when in the shower today....i don't know whether to call the midwife or if this is just part of pregnancy?

Ooh, last q, anyone know where abouts baby actually is at the mo? Is it still in the bottom half of the B or has it moved up? I seem to be more soft sqishy flab than hard baby bump :rotfl:

......oh and did i mention i'm completely clueless?!?

    TIA

Hi ladies,a bit of an embarrassing one:o
Has anyone else noticed their wee having a really strong smell, particularly late in the day and during the night? I've never had this before and if I had to describe it,I'd say it was almost fishy, but not quite. I don't have any other symptoms:o is this a normal preg symptom or should I see my doctor?

    Anyone? :o

I've not had it, but I'm pretty clueless, anyway so I'd go see your midwife/doc if you're worried.
