    It doesn't matter :)

The sleeping bags can be quite good for wriggly babies who kick the covers off, but certainly not an essential.

If baby won't keep the blankets on and it's cold you can always get one later if you want to.

Squeak had one but didn't really use it, some people swear by them though.

    18w3d - NOTHING!

    Hello *waves*
Don't think I have posted here before but been a bit anxious about this pregnancy, especially in the start...

Haven't bought anything and will wait till the 20w scan...

Even for me, only bought 3 pairs of trousers and 2 bras but that was because I really needed them...

One of the first things they tell you to do here for a 20 week scan is go pee.. You only need the full bladder at the 12 week one to lift the uterus out of the pelvis.. by 20 weeks it is out already..

Apparently if you are a little on the cuddly side a little urine in the bladder is ok as it helps see through the lard..

I'm not sure whether to be annoyed that my hospital has rubbish machines, or offended that they consider me a heck of a lot more than cuddly, but my letter told me to drink 2 pints of fluid for the 20 week scan as well :rotfl:

  • Had to have a full bladder at all my 20 week scans too..so sat there nearly wetting myself this time round.Sonagrapher hurried me in after agreeing it's not easy to hold back after having had three kids :p
Re the baby sleeping bags..I'm one that swears by them. All three of mine have used them due to being total wriggle bums who kicked off covers and woke up cold so personally the're a must for us!

Ahh just back from town, more nappies and wipes (no more now!!) got a few baby grows, and some hats and bibs :)

The walk into town and back is killing me now. My stomach has actually tripled in size in the past few days, that's what I get for being so smug :(

Just seeing the lists, thought I'd try and work out what we have (at 22+2)

Cot (donated but we need mattress)
    Swinging crib (ditto)
Travel system but not carseat yet (due to be delivered any day)
    Changing mat
    Hooded towels
Nappies (disposable and a donated bag of reusables that I have no idea how to put together!)
Various bits of clothing, not quite sure what as haven't been through all the donated stuff yet, but def a few sleepsuits and babygrows in newborn and 0-3.
    Knitted socks and hats
    A couple of cellular blankets
    Swaddling blanket
Gro-bag (mum produced this at the weekend having said she won't shop for the baby yet!)
    Baby wipes
    Bibs
    Cuddly toy...

Off the top of my head that is it so far. Seems like a lot seeing as she's not even due until next year!

Hi ladies,a bit of an embarrassing one:o
Has anyone else noticed their wee having a really strong smell, particularly late in the day and during the night? I've never had this before and if I had to describe it,I'd say it was almost fishy, but not quite. I don't have any other symptoms:o is this a normal preg symptom or should I see my doctor?
