    Hope you are keeping well

Must confess to searching as to what Beyonce' due date is as I am convinced that she must be Jan/feb!! It would be nice to follow her pregnancy rather than Michelle Heaton ()!!

Your scan will go great! :)
I think Beyonce must be about 18 weeks now to have the bump that she has, so I'm guessing early Feb ;)

There's been lots of talk about buying things. How about everyone posting up a list of what they've bought so far, as I need some ideas and seeing what everyone is buying will be helpful. Oh, and remind us how many weeks along (so I don't feel the only person not to buying anything) ;)

Ok, 17+5 and bought (or been given):
    Cot
    Cot mobile
    Cuddly toy
    Moses basket
2 white sleepsuits 0-3 months (actually had a 3 pack of these and cross stitched one as a gift for a friend, so these are the leftovers)
    1 warm fleecy outfit
2 pairs of booties knitted by DH
1 woolly hat knitted by DH
    Travel system with car seat
    Baby carrier backpack
Highchair (yes, it's early but it was only £10 from car boot)
Have been offered by friend: baby bath set and lots of toys
Offered by MiL: all her left over baby clothes from when DH and his siblings were little
Also have 2 Huggies starter set vouchers still to be used in Asda!

DH is planning to also knit a blanket or two - we got lots more car boot sale wool at a very good price, and it's the proper soft baby stuff as well.

16 week midwife appointment tomorrow - only a little late. I think i'll try and book my next one while I'm there...

Oh, and re. scary birth story - my friend's birth story was definitely true... baby didn't have a soft spot on the skull and she got stuck coming out. Ow!!!!

God you've all bought loads, too many people want to buy us things, and it's winding me up. I keep saying to OH, what happens if I have the baby early and noone has given us what they said they'd buy, we'l have nothing. I'm such a control freak though, I like to do the organising, that way I know it's done right. :o

And thanks pigpen I will just stick with the car seat we have, for all the time the baby will be in car anyway0 rarely, we live so close to town it's stupid taking the car in, by time you get out our 1 way street and into town with traffic, and then paying for parking etc.

Anyone know anything about how good the maxi cosi pebble is safety wise? I've been looking at it because it is apparently quite flat, and i'll probably be doing a lot of long motorway journeys.

    Hi Aimless

We bought the Maxi Cosi pebble, it came with the Mura 4. I know i'm only just gone 13 weeks but we got the car seat, pram body and pushchair all for £420 brand new! bargain. We would have bought it anyway as this was both out car seat and pushchair of choice. Another good thing about the pebble is the base you buy for it also fits the older car seat so you don't have to pay out for 2 seperate bases :)

    Hi ladies,

Hope all are well, I've been away for a few days so need to read back to catch up. I got my pregnancy notes back through the post today with my blood reaults - all normal thank god! I'd nearly convinced myself that I probably had some awful disease (I'm a big worrier!)

I've gone into buying overdrive, everytime I leave the house I end up coming back with something for the baby. Just ordered some sleep suits from Next, a gorgeous zebra print one with a little hat and some neautral coloured ones. We are not finding out the sex, so everything has to be neautral!
