Kitten Pie, isn't one twin always naturally smaller anyway? Try not to worry about the TTTS, until you have something concrete to worry about. I know, easier said than done.
Did you see the programme on TTTS that was on a few weeks ago. It was fascinating. I think it was called Emergency in the Womb.0 -
Morning all
That's fab news Kira, how exciting for you! I've got two friends both pregnant as well but we're not all close together like you are with your friends. One of my friends is due in September, so we'll have a couple of months overlap of maternity leave, the other friend is due in December, so I'll have a longer overlap with her! I know people say you meet other women at antenatal classes etc but I'm so happy that I've got friends having babies at (roughly) the same time as me too!!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

We had out 21+2 scan yesturday and baby B is 15% smaller than Baby A so I am worried. The consultant said that there wasn't anything to worry about yet as we have no other TTTS symptoms but doesn't stop me worrying. Hopefully when we go back in 2 weeks things will have improved. we have a heart check up then as well which is also concerning me event though I know its only because I am on the larger side and not because they have seen anything wrong.
Think it is just a worrying week.
Hope everyone else is well and the need to pee gets better.
Hope it all goes well for you kitten pie. At least they are monitoring you a lot, that goes for something.
I have twins who are now 7, Twin2 was always heavier, which they said was nothing to worry about. They did say it was is unusual that it was Twin2 which was bigger, the heavier is usually born first. There was 7oz difference between them at birth.
Twin2 was larger throughout the whole pregnancy (well after I was told at 21 weeks it was twins!) and they never had any TTTS or anything like that.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

That's great Kira, one of my best friends is preggers too, had her 12 week scan yesterday and all is fine, I'm 23 weeks so not too far apart. Especially chuffed for her as she had some potential cervical cancer issues early in the year; the day she got the all clear was the day I told her my news! She's a first timer though so more nervous and buying everything! She's planning to be at my birth, have said she can leave halfway through if it's all too much!Little lady arrived 13/12/110

Coooool! I was just watching "Fifth Element" with DH who bought the Blu ray for me today as i havent seen it for years, and i fancied watching it again. It got to the bit when the diva was doing the funky "oooooo aaahhh ahhhh ahhhhh" singing, and little beanie went crazy for the duration! Lasted about a minute of bashing away, and then as soon as the singing stopped so did beanie!
Of course, it may have just been co-indcidence, but the timing was spot on, and ive never felt such a defined and prolonged period of movment before. Only 20 weeks i know, but this bean is definately a big wriggler!
