Hey everyone
A friend dropped off a "what to expect when you're expecting" book over the weekend. Has lots of good stuff in it. Only glanced through certain pages, but will be sure to read cover to cover over the next week or so.
Ooo, i've got that. Bought it off Amazon. Makes for some great reading!!!DFD February 2012

Luckily the following week the measurements went back to grams.... Though yours might be a different edition without the added entertainment.
That's the one :rotfl: I read that bit last night and was a tad confused, baby will grow to 75-135 kg or something like that
PS - I've not got to the labour sections yet. Might leave them a while then :rotfl:
PPS - I lost weight this week at slimming world. The first loss in the last 3 weeks. I'll probably gain the 1.5 lbs back next week, but I'll take what I can getTTC #3..........0 -

If you've gained over 75kg of baby, any weight loss is very impressiveMust remember to stand on the wii fit board soon, I haven't checked my weight for the last couple of weeks. It'll probably start telling me off soon, they really need to add a 'pregnant' button.
I got my first 2 pairs of maternity trousers yesterday, ebay purchases from last week. One pair is a perfect fit but I'll need to take the legs down slightly (got as far as undoing the hems, now for the boring sewing bit) and the other pair is a little big, but I'm sure I'll grow into them! I'm really quite pleased that I'm going to have a change from black trousers - that's the only colour I've got that are stretchy enough to still fit!
I'm taking tomorrow off work (our leave year runs out at end Aug so need to use it up) and DH and I have decided to have a properly relaxing day - no decorating, no car restoration, and no chicken run building! It looks like it'll be Cowboys and Aliens at the cinema, and possibly a swim in the local pool if I can still fit into my swimsuit!0 -
Hi ladies
Just realised that I am alomost too far gone for this thread now =, I am 22 + 5 and just cannot believe how fast it's going. OMG i have actualy got to give birth in 17 weeks!!
I bought my moses basket yesterday and got a fab deal. I got the East Coast Winnie the Pooh Sketchbook Pooh basket from Tesco, which was reduced to £52 from £70ish and then with their current 25% off nursery items, it took it down to £39 and I paid for it with my clubcard vouchers, so was really chuffed. Picked it up last night and it is beautifulit is really big and well padded, it almost made me cry to think that our baby will be sleeping in there soon.
I'm feeling ok, just starting to get very big and the baby is moving alot now! OH felt it move for the first time the other night, which was lovely.
Hope everyone is ok0 -

I seem to have been in maternity stuff for ages, but two of the pairs I bought don't fit comfortably already! Maybe cos they're under the bump style and my 'bump' isn't firm enough to stop them digging in yet, or maybe cos baby wants to sit as low as possible all the time! The other pair are huge and need pulling up constantly, very flattering.
Good job they were all Ebay ones, but I've suddenly got a hankering for some lovely maternity denim dungarees to solve the endless waistband problems, and have discovered they cost a fortune. Even on Ebay they're a bit pricey for me, and seem to be out of fashion in most shops.0
