I would be annoyed too Jenjade, so annoyed I would have upped and went home  but that's the mood I'm in today!
I read that if you've already had them then you aren't at risk until later stages of pregnancy, about 36 weeks. Not sure where I read it, probably some pregnancy magazine.0 -
Is it just me who feels like I'm never going to be normal or healthy again?!! I've just made tea for DH and myself, was really looking forward to chicken thighs, stuffing, veg and mash all afternoon. Felt fine, served it up, sat down at the table, then my stomach turned, my mouth started to water and I had to hot foot it to the loo.
I'm so sad that I can't stomach proper food and so fed up feeling crap*y all the time, I even had a good cry, just feling down now.
Off to run a bath and have a bowl of sugar puffs which seem to be the only thing I can eat at the moment!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

I had my first cry last night (well, apart from the night we found out I was preggers!) which is rather unlike me. It was just about midnight, is my birthday today and was just thinking that I was in bed on my own on my birthday with no bf or son (Mon is daddy day) and that his dad wouldn't remember to think to get me a card from him. Soon shook myself out of it and went to sleep; think I've done well to get to 24 weeks with no emotional outbursts though!
As it turned out, I've had a nice day; lunch and the afternoon with my 2 best friends, baby shopping spree in the Primarni sale, tea out with the bf and the evening at the pub with his darts team. Bf got me flowers which never happens! and I didn't get a card from my son as expected, but I popped round to his dad's earlier and got a cuddle (from him, not his dad!) which was nice. We're off to Legoland tomorrow and Thursday so that should finish it off nicely, even though I'll be limited on going on many rides.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -

Aww big hugs yummymummy,
It was my birthday in June and I knew I wouldn't get a mum card from OH either I was right anyhow but its his birthday end of July and I still got him his first Daddy card I just don't think men think like we do.
Really glad you enjoyed your birthday anyway though
Janine I do sympathise with you I'm still getting the occasional bout of violent sickness and it isn't pleasant I don't think mine is anywhere near as bad as yours but the sickness I've had must've shrunk my stomach because I can't even eat a quarter of my meals when I sit down to them and have come to the conclusion that its just my bodies way of controlling my weight gain and just one of those things I still feel miserable when it happens though in fact it happenned yesterday I was visiting my dad hadn't even been eating but had my last mouthful of a cup of tea and then it hit me from nowhere and I ran off to the toilet ! I shed a tear about that so can't imagine what its like for you
I haven't slept properly for 2 nights now and am shattered as a result ! Its awful just lying there am hoping exhaustion kicks in tonight and i sleep solidly up and down to toilet etc it is bad I think I've kept OH up too which is bad as he is working 6 - 2 this week and is shattered enough without me maing it worse bless him its our gender scan today though and am all excited about that which didn't help the sleep last night I'm like a child at christmas ! It's not that I have a preference as I've said before I just want to know :rotfl: anyway its not til 15.40 so ages to go yet will post back later and let you all know which team we are
Wish us luck
