Thanks Pookie. I have had my scan today and have been told that everything is fine, i got to see the heartbeat and have 4 pictures to keep! The sonographer said everything was fine, baby is 60mm head to bum and they think i'm 12+3 so they have moved my due date forward to 2nd September. So i'd like to fully come over to this thread if that's ok? I have been told today that i am being put under consultant care as they think it's best for the baby and me so i guess it's a good thing. Anyway off to carry on watching OBEM see you all soon!0

I keep meaning to buy a bump band!
I've lost my feet, oh no!Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
April week 1 - £42.78 | week 2 - £53.0524lbs in 12 weeks 15/240 -
Welcome on board ecoelle and glad to hear all went well!
Thanks ladies for the clarification - I think I will get more of an idea the closer we get, a moses basket seems more practical than a rocking crib as you can carry it around, so maybe I will re look at those. Maybe there is a rocking moses basket to satisfy both...
Wow sequeena - I have bump envy, I have only just started using my button expanders in the last week! Though I can say that the last 4 days in particular things do seem to be changing alot.:):)

Hi Ecoelle nice to see you over here and glad your scan went well!
sequeena that is some bump - now mine is poking out I find I am always touching it!
sparkle you can get rocking moses basket stands too which is handy!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Sounds good Apricot, maybe that's the solution - the crib seems sturdier but then again if only using for 4-6 months what difference...
Have asked on the big thread about co-sleeping vs sleeping in cot - anyone thought about this yet? Seems for most of history, in most of the world, co-sleeping was the norm and still is... am researching it some more but wondered if you guys had any thoughts.:):)

Hi Ecoelle- welcome and glad your scan went well
im in maternity gear now, it was far too uncomfortable in normal clothes. my bump seems really big now, my mum keeps joking that my baby is going to be 12lbs!0 -
I'm also in maternity gear, have been since about 14 weeks (!) HOWEVER this was mainly because my work pants especially helped to stop me feeling sick as much as they weren't as tight (they are the time which have stretchy material at the side not accross the bump).
If you're lucky you can generally get away with elasicated pants or tops which bunch under the boobs and fan out, you don't always have to go for maternity gear.

i've not bought any maternity stuff, well tell a lie i bought a black size 12 maternity fitted top other day and it is huge, just hangs off me. i'm only 14+3 tho,but i've put on 6lb since falling preg !!!!! last preg i'd put on 4lb by time i was 18 weeks. so not good.
i'm very much looking forward to my next scan april 8th, as hoping by then i might actually feel preg, lol. it still sinking in.0 -
Hi jcr, I haven't bought any yet either, and I'm 18 weeks - the button extenders from ebay have helped so far... but this wknd must get something, even if just a belly band or something. At 18 weeks have put on 3kg which I believe is 6.6 pounds, you can see online what weight averages are per week I think, then maybe eat better from then on so it doesn't catch up on you I guess! Last wknd I ate terribly so going to behave this wknd

Hi everyone, I hope it's ok to be on this thread as well as the others. I am 15 weeks but can't seem to let go of the less than 12 week thread. I am also putting the odd post on the big pregnancy thread.
I have my next scan on 1 April.
Congrats to Kirstie on your little boy and congrats to ecolle for a happy scan with a healthy bub. My dates were moved forward by 4 days at the 12 week scan and it's funny how excited I was by moving forward.
Time seems to be whizzing by in some ways but still dragging in other ways.
Good to see so many familiar names on here!
