Anyway - Sorry for the whinging! I have blood tests today for my thyroid, Back at hospital on the 8th for my third scan and then back on the 9th for blood results. Weight wise, I've put on 5lb's but looks a lot more than that. Still in size 14's (just!) so buying more "fat" pants as i call them lol

Our bump is called "flump" (DD was called Bam-Bam because I swore she had a club in there to hit me from the inside with!)

I can feel flump moving, its butterflies :D

Mimi - I weighed myself today - have put on 10lbs  Not happy about that particularly.... I don't want to get back to the UK and everyone think that I look pregnant from the eyes down....... I know now is not really the time to be worrying about weight, but would like to look back on this time with fond memories and not be cringing at any photos........

    Loving the name flump :)

    Afternoon All :j

Pigpen -dot informs me that it was the tango rather than the jive......

Mousey (:rotfl::rotfl:) likes to keep playing with my mind every now and then. A couple of times I have laid on my side (probably crushing the poor mite) and I have jolted up as it feels like something 'moved' down there, like I said just playing with my mind.

My hubby being the silly man he is has dug out a steiff toy mouse (scarily about the same size as the real mousey!) and he placed it on my stomach to see if it moved... and well it moved up and down with my breathing :rotfl::rotfl:perhaps I should have freaked him out and moved it with the stomach muscles I used to have..

    Hope u are all well

    Hi ladies

Im now just over 23 weeks and have a shocking cold! I am going to take a few days off work to rest up but was wondering if having a cold can harm the baby at all? My little one isnt big on the whole moving around thing but I heard his heartbeat last week so Im sure things are fine. I just worry about passing a virus on to him or something with the cold.

I havent taken any medicines or anything just paracetamol before bed to help me sleep. Im drinking as much as I can but have no appetite but I am trying. Can it be harmful for the baby?

    Hi SkipE,

Try not to worry, you are doing the right things i.e getting lots of rest, keeping fluids up and but if you are worried then just speak to your gp/mw if you want to put your mind at rest.

    Hope the cold goes soon

    Hi ladies,

Had an awful scare yesterday, starting bleeding (very watery pink and not alot of it) but was just so worried. I have previously had a miscarriage so had some terrifying thoughts going through my head, lots of tears and I know this may sound silly but realised just how much this baby means to me.

Went to hospital and got checked, babies heartbeat fine, no sign of infection for me and after being swabbed was diagnosed with cervical erosion. Has anyone else ever had this? After googling it when i got in, i found that it is actually quite common in pregnancy and not harmful. But now feel like it's just one more thing for me to worry about :( i am already having a very painful pregnancy, which is either due to a large cyst they found on my left ovary at an 8 week scan or because of two previous surgerys for adhesions on my left ovary (adhesions were sticking the ovary to the fallopian tube and needed to be snipped away - but I think they have probably grown back, hence the pain now). Not sure which is causing the pain, but at times I am in so much pain, I have a hospital appointment on Weds about this though, so hoping to find out more then.

Not had any bleeding since and have taken today off work to rest, I am starting to relax again now but I am just hoping and praying everything goes well for the rest of this pregnancy and that I am holding my baby in my arms come December xx

I was diagnosed with it a few years ago, had a few episodes of (light) bleeding earlier on which scared the life out of me because I never knew if it would stop or not! No sign of any cause so they decided it was probably the erosion.
