Hi GB, I seem to remember you saying something along those lines now you mention it. Oh what a pain for you to have to have that injection each time!
Yes we realised once we got there that as the doctor didn't rush out to see us it mustn't be a priority! It's weird though that it should happen new as have had no bleeding in the whole pregnancy until now.

I guess we will all have to get more creative not to scare ourselves to death again :D

17 weeks as of today, we are apparently no longer avocado sized, but turnip sized :p thank goodness I bot my little button expanders or else I would be struggling with work clothes...

Now, to enjoy the Valentines dinner tonight that we never had last night - we enjoyed vending machine Nik Naks and then rushed beans on toast at 11:30![/QUOTE]

lol! not quite the dinner you were hoping for I suspect!
I think the reason it's happened now,as I mentioned is that the cervix is very full of blood and enlarged in pregnancy (apparently) - certain positions can make it more liable to get knocked resulting in bleeding
I'm just over 20 weeks now but have been in maternity clothes for a long time :o

Hope you enjoy your dinner and have a more relaxed evening tonight x

  • I'm rhesus negetive too, and would do anything to avoid the anti D (it stings, really stings) lol

well amnio resulots today show that baby has Klinefelters Syndrome. we are truely gutted and numb at the moment. been reading the big wide web a little with hubby tonight but it's so confusing at the moment we just don't know what to do / or think for the best. Seeing genetics specialist on Fri so guess we'll wait to see what they say and make our decision from there. totally gutted!!!!

edit to say, they had to tell us we're having a boy as Klinefelter's only occurs in boys, we really didn't want to know the sex but there was no way around it! I keep thinking about my little baby boy now :(

:grouphug: cleomolly im so sorry - I can't imagine how you and your OH must be feeling. I can't say I've heard of the syndrome before, I just googled but don't really understand it.

Im sure you and your OH will make the right decision whatever that might be and you will always have our support. Talk as much as you need to and my PM box is always open xxxx

    Hi all,

Celomolly so sorry to hear it's such a nerve wrecking time anyway without hearing of added items to consider - I think that the silver lining seems to be from the little I have read on Wikipedia that he would lead a normal life in all areas but the main areas affected being reduced fertility but that this can be assisted in future? See what the specialist says, we're here for anything you need just let us know how it goes for you both.

Anderson - it'd be my aim to get back to those sort of activity levels but I have been so tired! I definately don't want to go without though, forget men 'needing' it - women do too! Wow amazing you can feel something already - I must say that this morning before I got out of bed I did feel something strange, but wasn't sure if I was imagining it! So now I will be especially vigilant to check if I feel it again... I'd be surprised though as 1st timers aren't meant to feel anything this early but perhaps this is affected by your weight to start with, not sure.

Apricot I am 17 weeks tomorrow - we're def bump buddies!

Pookie good luck for tomorrow and I hope the cranberry juice helps! Natural yoghurt is meant to be good too but that needs to be, erm, applied I think...
