I was thinking mid July but that will include 2 weeks annual leave before ML starts.
My SIL had terrible heartburn throughout her pregnancy and swore by Gaviscon. I have had a really stressful week at work and started to get heartburn yesterday for the first time. It wasn't too bad and a couple of glasses of water sorted it but I fear this is just the beginning.....:oLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
Anderson same here I work in an office too, was thinking end of June, as my EDD is 26th July, but I have also said to my boss it all depends how I am feeling at the time, may be able to stay on longer. Pro rata I only have 12.5 days holiday on that basis, so am taking some now in March but won't be able to take a week before maternity leave is due, as the company is so busy and we are so small. I think a day off here and there is easier for them and nice for me too, especially as we're only at the beginning of the rollercoaster ride now!
Claire sorry to hear about heartburn, I tend to have it mainly if I have too large a meal at once, so have tried to spread out eating... seeeems to help.
TMI but have started to get more discharge now, I read it's normal but have a secret hope this is as bad as it's going to get down there! Tummy definately tighter and less constipation too, though I need to work out some foods I like to help ease it when it does happen. Planning to make some body lotion myself from some shea butter and jojoba oil that I have at home, as my Palmers is running out...:):)

I'm going to have lots of annual leave to take before my due date so il probably leave early June
Il also accrue lots whilst im off so il be able to add some onto the end of my maternity leave too, but il have a think about that.
Is anyone else getting slight stomach ache? I had a water infection a few weeks ago and needed anti biotics, and the ache feels a bit like that again, i have a midwife appointment on weds, so il raise it then unless it gets worse before.Living as simply as we can

I keep forgetting about this thread, sorry girls. I'm 15+3 now, my emergency scan on Friday went well and baby is fine but they're rescanning me as they think I've lost some amniotic fluid.
You can never relax in pregnancy can you?
I keep getting pains in my belly button, I wonder if that means I'm getting ready to pop?Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Hi Pookie sorry to hear about the pains - hopefully it's not the infection again. Maybe take some cranberry juice from now until appointment just in case? /my stomach mostly hurts when I eat heavy bad food, guess it's indigestion and guilt! Had a McD chicken burger with onion rings and cherry pie for lunch today... bad Sparkle! Hope you feel betterrr soon.
Sequeena glad to hear that scan was ok, it's so scary we can't relax can we, there's always something...do you mean your tummy is ready to pop out? Also when is your next scan?:):)

Just popping in after the amnio today, wasn't as bad as I expected, the worst bit being the anti d injection as I'm rhesus negetive (now that really stung) should get first set of resultstomorrow which I really didn't expect as all the leaflets I've read say can take up to 3 weeks, so m feeling rather anxious about that but guess its better to know asap. Hope everyone is keeping fit and well and bubbas are all wellDMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 315Married 03/04/2010with many thanks to MSE Wedding boardLO 23/03/12 Special thanks to TTC thread0

I think my bellybutton is ready to pop... in the next few weeks lol it seems to be getting deeper if that's possible?
I'm not sure when my next scan is. The appointment has been blocked but I have to see the receptionist after my triple test on Thursday to confirm an actual date. I'll probably be 17-18 weeks when I have itWife and mother :jGrocery budget

Hi Cleo, glad it's over and done with and let us know if you get the results today, fingers crossed all is well.
Sequeena, hadn't given much thought to belly button - must check later! Good luck for Thurs too, another pregnancy milestone fof your list.
Well our Valentines' was different than expected - we ended up in A&E most of the night and only got home close to 23:30. We wanted to celebrate Valentines early after work so after DTD I started to bleed very heavily, (sorry TMI) dripping even, so we went straight to hospital. It was so scary, took them 30 mins to get us seen for a check and then another 3 hours to be seen by a doctor. They said as long as I felt ok and the bleeding had stopped, with no fever and no clots or pain, to take it easy and drink lots of fluids. Just in case they have set me up another interim scan for this week, I feel ok, so let's hope Sweetpea is too...:):)

Hi Sparkle
Just to let you know I had exactly the same thing happen to me at around 15 weeks having DTD - it's very common apparently due to the cervix being lower and full of blood
We haven't DTD since as I'm RH negative and although it doesn't harm baby any bleeding for me nvolves an anti d injection at the hospital so we thought best to give it up for the time being0 -
Hi GB, I seem to remember you saying something along those lines now you mention it. Oh what a pain for you to have to have that injection each time!
Yes we realised once we got there that as the doctor didn't rush out to see us it mustn't be a priority! It's weird though that it should happen new as have had no bleeding in the whole pregnancy until now.
I guess we will all have to get more creative not to scare ourselves to death again
17 weeks as of today, we are apparently no longer avocado sized, but turnip sizedthank goodness I bot my little button expanders or else I would be struggling with work clothes...
Now, to enjoy the Valentines dinner tonight that we never had last night - we enjoyed vending machine Nik Naks and then rushed beans on toast at 11:30!:):)
