Hi. I renewed just before phone lines closed on evening of Thursday, 5th May.

Received an extra payment into account on Thursday, 12th May. Received both final notice for last year (2010/2011) and new Tax Credits Award (2011/2012) in post yesterday, Saturday, 14th May. Confirmed payments for my new award start tomorrow.

So, would presume the final notice for last year and the new tax credit award for this year are generated by the computer at the same time and one of yours has probably just got held up in post.

    Hope this helps.

UPDATE...I have called tax credits and they said the provisional award 2011-2012 is due to me having a change of circumstances (details given when I renewed) and that this was issued before they are processing my final award for 2010-2011.
