I've still not heard anything after I renewed on the 4th May, So I rang the helpline to see if there was any news and they said it had been received but hadn't been processed yet and to ring back on the 15th June if we still hadn't heard anything.

My goodness...that IS quite a long time to be waiting on your renewal to be sorted!

I renewed by post this year , sending my renewal forms off to tco on 9th or 10th of May and yet my renewal is sorted already. I have received a lump sum I was due and my new weekly amounts were all sorted out by yesterday

My work friend renewed by PHONE on Friday 13th May and hers has been sorted too. She received her lumpsum and new weekly payment amounts on Thursday 19th May.

Wonder why some are so slow yet others are sorted within days?
The loopy one has gone :j

I haven't had my paperwork through yet to be able to renew so I'm very jealous of everyone who has. Feels like a forever wait at the moment.

    Hallo.
I renewed my claim over the phone on Tuesday afternoon, my new payments have gone into my account today, but my Potential Payment hasn't been released yet.
Does anyone know how long this should take?
    Thanks in advance :)

That has me worried now that there's something wrong with my renewal when everybody else has already had theirs done and dusted in such a short space of time.

I renewed on Tuesday. My new payments have been put on the system and Monday's new payment popped onto my account today (as usual)
Still no lump sum though, and I'm due around £560. Anyone know when I can expect this? It'd be lovely to get it before my son's first birthday next Saturday :)

My sister said she was done and dusted, but when I said my award said provisional she looked at hers again and it said the same.

Some peoples tax credits might be finalised, but others maybe provisonal and they haven't noticed.;)

Well I m more confused thn ever! I rang to renew gave them last years income and this and she said all sorted now, then today I got 2 award noticesw in the post the one for this year is correct but then last years said 'Provisional Tax Credits Award 2010-2011' so i rang again and said I gave you all the details and she said no that was an estimate, but the figures they have are correct on it so she took them again and said we will get another award notice, on the provisional it says they might owe us £670 as we got less tax credits than we should, I hope thats right it would be lovely

Last year I went through the specialist renewal and it took 4 weeks to finally get the paperwork, that is why I am being a bit patient this year. Did you have a change in circumstance?, I did which is why I got a provisional award which will be processed before they finalise 2010-2011.
