    Hi all,

Does anyone know the time frame for a provisional award to become a final award?

    I renewed 29/4/13

I received a provisional award dated 26/4/13, before i renewed this was due to a change in circumstance, my daughter diagnosed Aspergers and entitled disabled element.

I also contacted them on the 1/5/13 to change my bank details, i then received another provisional award on the 13/5/13, not heard anything since.

Any ideas why t may not be a final award yet?

    Thanks

Hi, last year 2012/2013 - hubby's income was £16,079 , last week we got his P60 from work showing £19,779 , I've been reading about an income disregard of £5,000?

Does it mean that we will still get WTC again this year, there is just the two of us, hubby's hours are over 30.
    thanks

Renewed this morning and advised them that I no longer have my son in Childcare, he hasn't been going since December, but I never told them as I didn't think I needed to as on my claim I was getting '0.00' for Childcare costs? But worried now :(

Also, for last year they were working with household income of £26,000 but due to cut hours etc, our household income was £19904, the guy said I may get a payment, I may not ??
    Will I get anything??

    Thanks :T

We sent off our tax credits renewal form yesterday, and today I have realised I was reading my accounting software wrong (baby brain!!) and have put my earnings at about £150 less than I actually earned. I'm not sure what I need to do. I've Googled and can't find anything. Do I need to wait for the notice to come through and then let them know I got it wrong, or try to contact them now to put it right?

I'm sure I heard somewhere that in the coming year tax credits would take savings into account and if you had more than £16000 you wouldn't be able to claim them. Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi. Savings are not taken into account with Tax Credits so there is no limit,
Savings are taken into account with means tested benefits for example Job Seekers Allowance, Housing Benefit etc where the limit is £16,000
