i was just thinking about resident evil while i was in the toilet at work
theres no windows and the single flourescent tube was flickering on and off i was waiting for a zombie to crawl out the toilet0 -
Actually, a simple calculation shows that if everyone obeyed the 2 second rule re. spacing, the capacity of a road would be 1800 vehicles per hour per lane independant of speed. For a 1 second rule the capacity would be 3600 but I wouldn't recommend that one ... an interesting fact. In real life, of course, things are more complicated. At least some fingers can be pointed now for all those traffic jams.0 -

Hehehe!
Maybe thats why people are driving too fast - to escape the zombies! The opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
People drive fast because they can/dont care about the fuel nor someone telling them what they should or should not be doing.
does that help you OP?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

If I'm on the motorway then I'm doing a loooong journey, going at 50 would add hours onto some journeys. A tired driver = a dangerous driver. Also, there will be people going faster who can't always overtake you, get frustrated and pull out stupidly - potentially causing accidents.
I think the best thing to do is to drive to the speed limits (where possible), but make an effort to drive efficiently.0 -

On a long journey, i start off with the best intentions .... but after about an hour on the motorway, i've had enough, and the foot goes down ........˙ʇuıɹdllɐɯs ǝɥʇ pɐǝɹ sʎɐʍlɐ
