That wouldn't result in a fail, just request to turn it off from the examiner.0 -

I suspect that the test would be terminated and the candidate would lose their fee.0 -
i sat in traffic for my test and did a reverse park and passed it was great
kinda like a test in india0 -
Well, you'd get a minor for not doing the proper 'feeding through' steering wheel grip, that no one bothers with once they've passed. What might they be..?
You'd get a minor for 'flicking' the gearstick rather than placing it into gear.
You'd get a minor or possibly a major for not doing a full 6 point check before moving off, also which no one does once passed.
You might even get a minor for flashing someone out, because its not 'to make them aware of your presence', which everyone does.
And yes you'd get a minor for doing 45 in a perfectly clear and straight 60 zone.0 -
a minor isnt a fail unless your really bad and get loads
i managed to get a minor for steering which i thought is fairly major but i didnt argue that was the only minor i got. it was probably becuase of lack of steering due to sitting in traffic0 -
Yes but the driving I described falls below DSA standards but not the law, which was the original point.hubert_cumberdale wrote: »a minor isnt a fail unless your really bad and get loads

So we're all agreed at last then that 50mph isn't a fail. Perfectly fine to drive at 50mph in a 60 limit, even though the tailback is horrific, and the road rage will be like a scene from Resident Evil.
(I just finished the first tank driving at 56 rather than 70, I got about 10% more mpg, so prepare to queue behind me from now on).0 -

Have you become a qualified DSA Examiner overnight?
Or did you hear it down the pub?
