Afternoon all. I'm checking in so very late and haven't even had time to read the thread yet
Was up most of the night and am feeling rather delicate, ahem.
Need to do ~4 hours of revision for my exam tomorrow, clean/tidy and make dinner- roast chicken legs with a baked spud and salad? Brilliant! I'm finding eating less and eating better soooo easy suddenly, probably because my brain is too busy with other matters
But first, time to read the threads with a cuppaLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Gillian, that sounds so painful! I hope the pain starts to ease soon!0

Me again
Went to town and got DS his thermal, they are very expensive:eek: but it'll pass down to the other two. Also got 3 stig keyrings for 50p each from m&s reduced from £3 each so they've gone in the christmas box along with a volcano experiment was £4.99 now 99p (WHS) Got some meat from M&S 3 for £10, and the dine in for 2. Also got a pasta bake type dish for £2.49 half price the boys will be having that on tuesday for tea. In Boots got some snow bites and cadburys chocolate wishes for 20p each.:D
The food has now been sorted some for us, some for DD. Not a bad trip, got wet through though, it has rained non stop today.
Lamb curry for tea in the SC will have the leftovers for tea tomorrow, the boys don't mind 2 days in a row, its one of their favourites. The buns I made yesterday are a hit, mum and dad called and tested them.:)
Glad your safe and sound Aussielass.

B*gger. DS wanted to bake some planet biscuits and I've over cooked them, got carried away with tidying up/washing up. Will they notice once they've been decorated with icing?!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Good Afternoon All.
Hester - meant to say yesterday how sorry I was about the diagnosis on Friday.
JackieO - hope your DGD gets over the SF very speedily.
Aussielass - glad all is well with you. Miss your regular posts - try and pop in more frequently!
Well, DS has returned home today, which is a huge step forward. Hope so much he manages to stick it out on his own this week. Would never say he can't come home, but not the best for him I know.
We all went out for a chinese today (early birthday treat for me for tomorrow!) Not OS, but very nice indeed.
Have meeting this evening - shame as I'd love to just curl up and relax.
Another one tomorrow evening which I have to minute - more work piling up already!
Oh well, hope your Sundays are going well. Take care.Resolution:

Hi Guys,
Oh those lovely Staffie pups. Molly and Poppy are best friends with as Staffie nicknamed "Bouncy Dog". I would have one in an instant but couldn't cope with three dogs again. Two is fine as I have two arms to give equal fusses and Kids Dad has two arms to hold onto their leads. We really struggled with three dogs and so our westie boy was re-homed to my Dad. Win win situation as Chay loved his Grand dad the best and was away from the lovin' attention of Poppy and we still see him all the time:T:T:T
Just for the record i really dont know how people can mistreat or abandon dogs or any animal for that matter:eek::eek::eek:
Ok well I have finished the dreaded DLA form. It took us a week and I lost count of the hours but I guess about 12 hours over the course of the week. I had such a lot to update them with. Send it off and forget about it for a few weeks.
We are making a quiche for tea. I have just blasted my DS1 and DS2 as I asked them nicely this morning to do some jobs. I reminded them at lunchtime and mid afternoon. Why do I have to get upset and shout for any action to occur:mad::mad::mad:
Have a lovely evening. Lark Rise to Candleford which is based on the books by Flora Thompson and the villages around the market town in which I live. xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
 I think this just proves how un-OS I am......I've often wondered why my hoover didn't have one of those brush attachments for hoovering tops of skirting boards, shelves etc but figured as it was a cheapo Tesco one it didn't have attachments.....just hoovered today and accidentally pulled the hoover too hard so it upended, and out of the bottom of it popped the brush attachment :rotfl: it's been there all along and I never knew it!!
I've had the hoover 18months! :rotfl:
