Morning All,
Damp here too. I have been up since 7, but am very tired, I stayed up late last watching watching The Book of Eli. Still not sure how I feel about it yetOH is on his way to Sunderland again, but just for the day, he is not happy at all - they want him to do stuff he told them was needed on Thursday, but at the time they disagreed, then he got a call yesterday to go back today! Still, its money in the bank, isn't it?
Housework today, I have lots to do, I seem to be doing one step forward, one step back every day. I have stuck a pot of soup on though, and I have a pack of Smarties cupcakes to bake for the kids' snacks this week. I don't normally do cakemixes, but I buy them to send to my nieces and nephews abroad on their birthdays and I had got a great deal on 3 for 2's last year, and they are nearing their date now.
Glad to hear your date night went well Bitsy, I can't remember the last time we were out for dinner on our ownOff to get my porridge now, have god days everyone.

Morning All
Just having a lazy morning, have fed the hens and had a couple of cups of tea. Want to give the floors a good mop today, it is a bit milder and not raining at the moment so will open all the windows as it is still quite blowy. Also need to do some shopping today, apart from a few veggies and salad stuff I haven't actually bought any food since christmas/new year! Will nip into home bargains as I like their pilau rice in a sachet and the lazy spices are good value.
Off for a shower soon to get organised, back later. Enjoy your Sundays, take care. XX0 -
Morning all. Woke at about 8 and then my 3 yr old got up about 2 minutes later as I was contemplating lying in bed reading for half an hour. Ah well, nothing nicer than a wee snuggle in the morning from a little one!
DD1 and DH still fast asleep. Off to get the washing on so I can get it out fro the first time, really blowing out there.
'Super Sunday' on for football, so that will keep dh amused for the day. If it stays dry, might get the chance to get to Dunstable Downs for a walk with the kids.
Might take some trout out of the freezer. Never cooked it before, but I'm told its not too 'fishy' so even I might enjoy it!
Going to try to put off shopping til tomorrow, but I have almost run out of fruit and veg. I'm really pleased as we have been eating so much healthier so far this month. Portions of fruit and veg all the time with everything!
Have a great day everyone. Must go, as Treasure Quest on now on 3counties Radio and it's one of my favourite shows of the week.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Morning allI saw Mamma Mia at Liverpool last year, was wondering how I would like it after seeing the film but it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and the getting up and singing and dancing at the end was great
Dazi - Mamma Mia was amazing!!such a fab production and yep everyone was up and singing and dancing at the end!
I have been reading my sainsbury magazine (my 1 luxury i refuse to give up!) they have a new frugal recipes section which has some great ideas so have jotted them down in my filofax - i usually see recipes and never find them again, now i put them in there we've had some great meals recently!
Bramble - What I do with recipes from magazines etc is cut them out of the mag and stick them in a sticky paged photo album. You can get cheap ones from £1shop etc. This way they are all together and the pages are wipe clean which is great for cooking!! I have 4 full albums of recipes I've collected over last 5 years or so
Rosyred - Sorry to hear your news xxI made a butternut squash and spicy tomato soup yesterday that was absolutely gorgeous and O WW points so that will be my lunches this wk:D
Julie - this sounds yummy, can you share the recipe please?

Me again
To all those who asked about the fish pedicure.....it was amazing!!You soak your feet in normal water first for few mins, then you put them into the tanks with the fish for half hour. The fish just gently nibble you so you barely feel it, it's more ticklish than anything else. It's fascinating to watch the fish! Afterwards you feet are dried off and we went into treatment rooms and had a half hour foot massage with reflexology which was to die for
so relaxing! I'd recommend it to everyone. Not at all freaky!!
Still windy here today but not so wet (yet).
Today I have the chance to try weight loss hypnotherapy for free with a friend of a friend. I'm still debating whether to go through with it - not sure I want my head messed with :rotfl:. My friend is having stress hynotherapy so will see how she says it goes and decide then.
OS wise - WM will go on when I'm out. I want to make a big batch of soup for lunches, I have load of carrots here so probably make spicy carrot and lentil. I need few bits so will pop to Lidl or Aldi probably. Desperately need to hoover flat too!
Also need to do some uni work and research flights for New Zealand etc in Nov.
Have a fab Sunday all

FB, glad you enjoyed your pedicure. Still doesn't appeal to me at all.
That is a great tip about putting the recipes in a photo album. I have a couple sitting around gathering dust, and you always find them at car boots etc. My sister bought me a recipe folder for Christmas, and I love it, but this would give me the extra space I need.
Julie, I, too would love the butternut soup recipe. My type of soup definitely.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Morning all.
A busy day today for megoing to clean the house top to bottom and sort out mount washmore and get it washed and dried. Not tackling the ironing part though thats an adventure on its own. Aim to get sorted by 3pm when kids go off to their dads for tea and then i maybe able to have a bath without an audience i love my children but i love me time more some days.
Who said Sunday was the day of rest? Its a myth!Sometimes i like to imagine that im living on the breadline as a single mum with 3 children to feed and clothe, bills to pay and very little time to myself........ then i wake up and realise im a princess with prince charming by my side and a lovely white castle........ oh wait
