I am indeed.:) Our green is in very good condition. Noticing that quite a few have a bit of moss in them. Risks of some bare patches later in the year methinks.
Our green is also running like july and is smooth as a babys bum!
Lovely to start the season without shivering and moaning that it is supposed to be a summer sport!:DIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Rain is currently forecast for the weekend folks.
Does anyone think I'm being premature in wondering why I appear to have no shoots coming through for the carrots & beetroot? I planted them just over 2 weeks ago now. I hear that onions are relatively quick growers, so is it just me being silly/confused by their growth? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
A lot of moss in ours too but it started appearing last year. Hope the rain does appear, could do with a couple of nights steady downpour really.0

MrB - every time I log on you've done a bit more,
Thanks - I am feeling pretty chuffed with the progress - I don't see any "big" jobs that need doing at the moment. I have to say it's almost entirely down to the weather - I've just made the most of the opportunity really, but it has been quite hard work. I ache in places I didn't know I had places. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I'll have to ask next time I am there.
