I planted them about 4 or 5 weeks ago I think.
The leaves are quite big, and the stem going into the soil is reddish.
They have been watered regularly
If I get a chance over the weekend, I will take a picture
Mine are exactly the same. I've grown radish successfully before so I have no idea what's going on with this lot.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Dunno - I can't see your gherkin from here
I picked my first radish yesterday - now, I don't actually like radishes and that's why I am growing them for seed only; but I want to take some photos of it so I picked one. I also pulled my first overwintered onion, Radar; as it was in the way of where I was planting my first batch of climbing beans.
And we got rain - yay!!! More is forecast today so fingers crossed; I've also ordered a new drill which is coming by 1pm so that I can get to grips with more bean frames at school next week....£198 drill for £70 - bargain! If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
OMG we got rain too, forgot what it was like.
Everything seems to be alot greener already. I was out like a mad man last night, getting in as much stuff as I could before it rained. Didn't manage the beans, but that might not be a bad thing.
What drill did you buy?Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Look hard, my gherkin's quite small.I can see roots at the bottom of the pot, but it's still only got two true leaves.
G'wan then, show us yer radish. And onion.
It is also raining here. Started with a little storm last night, and still raining. :jIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I thought so....it's mainly to put up polytunnels at school as my old one has pretty much bitten the bullet.
Trying it out on a bean frame later though - once I've had a cuppaIf you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Ohhh, I've got my first flower on a pretty in purple chilli
Although the plant isn't actually that large so I'm a little worried it's flowering/fruiting too early, it's about 8 or 9 inches high
Does that sound about right for a PinP to start flowering?0 -

Yes, they're not a big plant so that sounds fine.
Please stop posting photos because you're making me jealous. Mine are miles behind. :mad:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
