I had my first flower on a Sheeps' Nose pepper yesterday but I nipped it out.....
I do that because I THINK that you get a better harvest overall..as the plant throws out more flowers to compensate.
Others will disagree.
But, I don't think it's too early so if you don't nip your first flowers out then just enjoy your chili flowering!!!If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Please stop posting photos because you're making me jealous. Mine are miles behind.
But it's my first year and I'm very pleased with myselfI'm sure yours will catch up very soon and be much better than what I can achieve!
I haven't harvested anything yet-you've already had rhubarb! SO you're ahead0 -

I neither agree nor disagree, as I've only tried not doing it. The PinP fruited prolifically, regardless. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
The walking stick kale has left the garden. Left it as long as I could so the bees could have the benefit of the flowers, but it had to go sometime.
It is now drying in the shed. I estimate a potential 3'6" useable length - might be a little bit less, as I'm not sure how woody it is towards the growing end.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
rain stopped play again for us
. Allotment looks like a buildingsite at the moment, lots of wood. lots of mud, not much greenery.
