Don't worry, you only have to ask and I'm sure he has one for you too.

    A chilli plant. Obviously. :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Hi everyone, I thought I would update you about my chillis and peppers-not sure how big I should be expecting them to be now. I sowed them in early february and they're all still in my aga warmed kitchen on the windowsill, but I keep comparing them to ones on the chillis galore forum and obviously without a monster lighting set up I cannot make any comparison!

    Anyway, here goes:
Peppers-kaibi round sweet pepper and king of the north sweet bell pepper

Chillis-early jalapenos and pretty in purple

Look at the size difference between the jalapenos and pretty in purple

As for other things-tomatoes are going well, these are currently in the greenhouse and seem to be thriving in there. I've sown lots of basil, coriander, mint and parsley and nothing is doing well-mint didn't germinate at all, parsley is slow anyway but only had 3 stems come up, coriander is very poor and looks terrible, basil is the best but not doing great (I always struggle with herbs :o(
I've also planted my potatoes and done a catch crop like Month did on gardeners world of cut and come again lettuce and radish on top of the mounds-as well as another pot of lettuce. This weekend I am going to sow cucumber, carrots and parsnips and keep my fingers crossed. Oh and I have dwarf french beans to go in also-too early for these though?

I have a few sunflowers every year from seeds that fall from the bird feeders. There are some seedlings coming up already. :p
They have very big flowers, but don't grow particularly tall, though I suspect that's because I usually dig them up and shove them in an out of the way spot. :D
If I'm over the hill, where was the top?
