I had a good look this morning but couldn't see anything-I'll be out tomorrow investigating. Sadly I'm stuck at work on this glorious day boo

I did extra in the week to squeeze out most of a day at home. :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

What are you going to do with about 1500 chillies? :rotfl:

:rotfl: as the seeds we kindly given to me by someone on here I'm passing on mini plants tomorrow at an mse meet up, a couple to neighbours and the rest will be split between my son and I.
    He loves chillies.

I also have other chillis growing, you can't have too many:D

I was looking at that picture of the PinP (post #207), and I saw my little (then new) lavender plants behind it. They've grown a bit since then, I thought, so popped out to have a look:

If you look carefully you can see that some of the leaves have been nibbled. :(

And then I found these blighters:

So, what eats lavender? I need to know, because I like to think I'm fairly wildlife-friendly (sawfly excepted :p ). If they're a common menace, the birds can have 'em. If they are uncommon, and not too destructive, I wouldn't necessarily be averse to putting them back.

    Any ideas?

Edit: On the plus side, I'm pretty sure it's not rosemary beetle.

Been out to look at mine an no sign of anything, and I've never seen any caterpiller on them ever. Is it near anything else that they might have migrated over from?

    They're cute though, I like bugs :D

Nope. The lavender's about the only thing growing up that end apart from grass.

No, sorry, much to far to come. I'd waste a valuable day that I need to be gardening. :p

Hopefully, a man will arrive to replace my fence too (I say hopefully, because I waited a year for my shed!). Once that's done, I really think it'll start looking the part. :D

And to those of you with gooseberries, I've just found my first sawfly, so start looking. ;)
