Great news about the back down. But what's the bet we get our data throttled when we go above 500MB... is there anyway I can monitor that? I have an android so an app suggestion would be perfect :-)
T-Mobile may also want to tell their customer services. I just got off the phone 10 mionutes ago with a CS manager who said this is still coming into effect but now from 1st March!

Do you make a habit of always being wrong....i never said they were right or wrong i said its fair
WRONG - its obviously not fair or else they would not be changing their mind and cancelling the change.but you lot look like the losers now cause youve all cancelled your contracts and i still have mine
No one so far has cancelled their contract so again WRONG. Even if they had cancelled, how could that make them "losers" if they get a free phone without having to pay the line rental that subsidises that free phone.
So hilariously funny how you are always so wrong, but also gettng so, so boring now.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

I think the word you are looking for is 'winner' because those that chose to cancel (not me) can now opt for a cheaper sim-only tariff. This is also a victory for the vast majority who would have been unfairly hit by this but don't know about their legal rights.0 -

Still, under ofcom 9.3(b) "inform the Consumer of the ability to terminate the contract without penalty if the proposed modification is not acceptable to the Consumer" since the changes are unacceptable to me, I should be able to terminate without penalty.
just spoke to OFCOM and if you have had the notice of change or not you can under 9.3 cancel.0 -
Would i have to prove they sold me the phone, or would they have to prove they didnt mis-sell me the phone??
I know when I worked in retail, it was up to the retailer to prove that the Fault or statement the customer was complaining of wasnt correct as opposed to the customer to prove it is??
but that was 10 years ago so things might of changed....
The difficulty would be how can you prove that it was an android phone you wanted and after being in the store you were not offered a deal which you liked and accepted even though the phone was not android.
Not easy0 -

I'm not sure if I want to leave it at getting what I had already paid for due to the way I have been treated and the hassle it has caused.
I've read something like this before but can't remember where. Given all the crap tmob has pulled and all that hassle of phoning cs on numerous occasions, I'm reluctant to stay with them.0 -
