the internet comes with the phone if you dint have a bundle you would be charged 10p/per meg the unlimited internet add on is an extra

Are the 300 sms and add on aswell? Should T-Mobile take them away aswell?

The unlimited internet (3GB FUP) was T-Mobiles main selling point. That is now going, to the detriment of most on here (obviously not you).

Not at all. However I would be very careful to check whether your internet allowance stays at 3GB from February, as most people have been quoted in excess of £10 for the internet bundle.

Yea I noticed people talking about £10+ to keep their 3gb. I've checked my account online and it shows that 'mobile broadband plus' has been added to 'my services' for £4.25 (plus vat). As I couldn't find anything on their site clearly stating what's included in this, I gave them a call to double check everything and was told that it's 3gb and this particular booster isn't being downgraded (the free android package is however). Still being wary, I've called a further 2 times to check and they've said the same, so here's hoping they're not bs'ing me.

edit: the loyalty discount isn't showing on my account but I've been assured it will show on my bill and I won't actually be paying anything extra.

  • I have purchased HTD Desire HD from phones4u last Monday with 24 month contract. Yesterday, while I was waiting for a delivery I was reading my feeds and noticed the PCPros' news regarding T-Mobile's cap on data. I found their "patronising" statement regarding how we should be browsing on the internet at home very amusing. So I can browse BBC but cannot watch the videos or listen the podcasts if I hit the limit. Same for FB. Also I can check my emails but I cannot download my attachments. According to their CSR they are classified as downloads. It makes me wonder if T-Mobile knows how internet/websites works and the point of having an Android phones? :)

Today I have cancelled the contract straight away and returning my sealed handset back as soon as I receive my return package!

I feel "lucky" not to get "trapped" with T-Mobile now. As a customer of T-Mobile, when they were called One 2 One, I thought there were a decent company.

All I need is to investigate if 3UK any good in my area.

At last, it looks as though OFCOM might be on the case. See knowyourmobile.com/blog/725420/ofcom_to_investigate_tmobiles_data_backtrack.htmlhere

I'd get complaint in ASAP if like me this could be useful to reduce your price plan.

My letter will have option of changing my plan, at no penalty, to SIM only £15 plan from my £50 contract.

    my spec is:

    Your monthly plan charges

    600Mins&500Text(24)25 £21.28

You get 600 minutes and 500 texts on this 24 month plan.
Your minutes and texts are from the UK to UK mobile
networks and numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03
(excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man).
    Internet Booster (FB) Free
Internet Booster gives you unlimited internet on your
    phone in the UK
    Monthly charge total £21.28
    page

Which makes me think im stuffed because it doesn't show the web and walk + option so im getting reduced from 1gb to 0.5gb on paper.. but know i just got upgraded to the 3gb cap.
