Well tested on FTP... I manage 885 KB/s more or less what I normally get anyway , so no change for this 24MB thing... my line can take up to 16MB...:rolleyes:0 -

In their defence NJP said in theregister that it would be unlimited. I intend to find out why they are too lazy to phone BT themselves to get my MAC, plus loads of other questions!0 -

Right, nice friendly chap at NJP said there has been a problem with some exchanges which weren't configured properly, they apparently weren't sending back a valid IP address to your modem which was preventing people from establishing a connection to the internet. He says this was resolved approximately half an hour ago so you should be able to get online now.Will have to wait and see when I get home from work. Fingers crossed0 -

Were you having coonection problems till this morning? I couldnt connect last night but im at work just now so I cant check my line at home.
I do seem to rembmer that they said it would all be sorted by the 18th / 19th - looks like they maybye did half yesterday then half today.

just got through and once again the best service I could've asked for. He checked to see that Redten had provided them with the Mac code and asset number that I got for them as they couldn't be bothered, so did they pass it on to NJP as they said, NO!!! They've sent NJP an e-mail with my name on it, that's all!!! No address, phone number, mac etc!
They've got some answering to do!0 -

Don't want to build my hopes up to much but when I log into my account through NJP my order status is now showing as Order Completed - Line Active Activated 18/30
