Ok, just to give you all an update, since I was reconnected yesterday morning all has been fine (touch wood).
Download speeds seem to be the same as before.
As you can see below I have downloaded over 2gig, and download speeds are still the same (hasn't been throttled)
You have currently used 5.767 GigaBytes this month. This is calculated by adding 5.593GB of download data to 0.174GB of upload data used this month.
Below is the connection log infor which you can find on the members area, as you can see there is a cost section but this is at £0.00 even going over 2gig, so hopefully the service will remain unlimited, guess we'll see at the end of the month.
EDIT - deleted due to poor formatting... basically it says Cost = £0.000 -
I've been reconnected - and it still says Order in Progress
Damn I also was relying on that changing to order completed to give me an indication that my line had been activated.Guess i'll just have to ring REDTEN and try and get some sense (Right oh !)Incidentally if you go to FAST4's website now you immediately get a pop-up with the REDTEN logo telling you that if you are a REDTEN customer then bog off and bother REDTEN not them ,and then lists a PREMIUM RATE PHONE LINE 0905 099 0200Great0 -
Just remembered something else, further to my earlier post - I can't log on to the "Members Area" - it seems that my username is too long, as when I type it it cuts off the last three letters0
-
Have you tried just entering the account number and the password supplied in your recent letter ?
This should work, although clear as mud.

When I look at the order progress under my account details, it says:
'The Asset has already been ceased'
under notes.
Anyone else got this and what does it mean?
Ned,
Im getting this too -the ADSL light is turned on on the router and the router says that Im getting ADSL, but when I try to log on it tells me 'authentication failed.'
You heard anthing on this?0 -

oneseven,
Just to make things a little easier, access the members area using this link.
https://secure.njpservices.com/myacc.asp?a_code=red
Then enter your Account Id (not ADSL Username) and the password included on your Redten/NJP letter.
Access to your control panel should then be granted.

Just spent 41 minutes listening to Redten's jazz music trying to get through to them. Had to give up as my ears started bleeding and I lost the will to live.Maybe thy're just too busy connecting everyone to answer the phones. or maybe all of the telephonists are out offering to fix slates on pensioners roofs or tarmac their drives !0

Hi GRG,
I'm trying to ring Redten and NJP but am getting fed up already. A courier just tried to deliver a Homehub. which I refused. It's such a pain not being able to use the phone and surf at the same time!Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

It wouldn't surprise me! I've got a !!!!! trimming my tree at the moment - I'll ask him to see if he knows any more!Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.
