Welcome to some more new users, Andy and rubberducky and I think I saw another a couple of pages back. Good to have you onboard.
Try ringing redten on the 0844 4820000 number, it usually takes about 10 mins to get through and you might get cut off occassionaly!
Not sure why you're paying £24.96 a month? Maybe you got an extra with your package? Maybe a router or something?
As I've said a few times, I'd be careful cancelling your clode payment as that is a debt that you have agreed to pay. Not paying the new invoices that you haven't agreed to would probably be a better option.
No offence but I don't think they'll pay for someone to come round and set it up for you. They probably should but you'll have a hard time convincing them of that.0 -
I have just spoken to clode and told them i want to cancel and i have been told to send an email to their operations team the whole thing is doing my head in.
I have a letter saying any problems with the adsl speak to the NJP support team i have and they are saying nothing to do with us speak to the redten support team who are saying nothing to do with us speak to NJP.0 -
Don't cancel until we get stuffed, wait until they restrict us unfairly based on the FUP or they ask for more money etc. Until then (assuming you have access) we haven't been stuffed!0

Has anyone managed to get connected to the new service yet?
I'll be trying tonight when I get home, any advice / tips would be appreciated.0 -

According to the the superb Redten broadband support even though the lines are active it will be another 24 hours before you will be able to connect to the internet.0 -
HI, I was connected at 1:55 am this morning. When I woke up to check about I managed about 10 minutes then it stopped. Havent been able to reconnect even with 3 modems. You can check you usage via the members log in page and connection log. It shows Start then many entries with intrm then stop against 7:20am. Oh by the way I managed a whole 0.038 GB usage.0

Classic!
Did you point this out to them? I expect they would just hang up on you, they've hung up on me about 5 times so far but I'm persistant!
In their defence when I told them my number they said that they didn't have my MAC from BT but I had told them that I'd spoken to NJP and knew that already.
Not in their defence I asked them to phone BT for my MAC, 24 hours later they said they hadn't managed to do it where it only took me 5 minutes.0 -

Yeah, I second that. I can't remember how to log into my router (where presumably I'll have to change my login from @dsl.com to @surfmax)
Anything else I should be doing?
I've tried some of the numbers for NJP and Redten and my mobile doesn't even connect.0 -

If you connect your router to your pc then go to start/run and type in cmd and a black box will flashup type in ipconfig and hit return where it says default gateway there should be a number something like 192.111.1.1
open up internet explorer and type that number in the address bar it should take you to the login page for your router username and password should be redten/redten.
that should take you into the router then its just a case of using the setup wizard or what ever its called and putting your details in that.0
