The chance of it actually getting to court are slim, keep your strength & they should offer you a deal.
I like many other on here have paid a nominal amount to get released from the contract although quite a few have actually had Clown pay them, it would depend on your curcumstances & how much proof you have of their wrong do-ings etc

I paid ONLY because MY time was more important to ME than the time it would take to bring these idiots into justice (Did I hear someone say Quango??)

And I mentioned Aquiss previously (a vISP of Entanet) happy to now report receiving sub 50ms pings to east coast USA and 17ms within Europe....Sweet!:D:dance:

This is what you'll need to ask for when your told they have canceled your account with your permission, if you do that you will have to stop the legal process as you have settled.

A refund of monies paid since Original Walled Garden ie a refund of all direct debits. That was the 10th March.

Refund of Any costs involved to take legal action. The £25 charge.

Someone was asking me a personal question what does the 'B' stand for. It stands for Be Good!
Looking through the posts recently, I can see that alot of you guys have gone through a lot because of Redten. Redten I believe have gone into liquidation. So obviously it's unfortunate to those who are still pursing them. All the best with the new guys Fatcat.Hope they do better for you.

I got BT vision and its not bad for £30. You get a freeview box with a HDD recorder and BT vision so you can watch C4 and BBC progs that you miss. The Replay is £3 a month and its the only thing I subscribe to but you don't have to subscribe to anything. Its worth £3 as you'll always find something to watch on replay over 200 programs to watch when theres nothing on. You also get to poweline adaptors that extend your broadband network over the mains electricity for the V-box or you can use it to extend your network if your hub is near the V-Box. The box is well made and the 160GB HDD can store 80 hours of TV. Like I said not bad for the £30 initial outlay and theres no need to subscribe to anything just use it as a freeview box. People I've shown it to have gone for it to replace sky and Virgin or just to have it alongside them.

Just got a letter from Clode to say that FatCat are no longer willing to supply my broadband. The service will cease on the 31st of August and I will owe Clode nothing despite having 19 payments to go! A MAC is included with the recommendation that I use it soon, believe me I will.
So thats the end of the Redten saga for me.
Who would I be best going to for broadband or broadband/phone? Any suggestions?

I'd like to say there was some big secret but I haven't done anything! The letter came today in the post, perhaps the same will follow for everyone else?
Other than the break in service back in March/April I have never had any problems with Redten/Fatcat. However I am more than happy with the letter today. I get to keep the PC and can go find another and hopefully cheaper supplier.
Perhaps more posts with the good news will follow.

Just had a phonecall from a friend of mine who on my advice went to Redten and got the desktop and laptop package. He has just had the same letter as I had. He is even better off though as he had only been with them for 8 months!
