  • when I get over 2gig I'm going to email NJP and RedTen and say "I hope you don't expect me to pay this" and see what happens.

  • Redten tell me that they're unable to get a MAC code for me. I tell them that a simple 5 minute phone call to BT would fix that. 24 hours later and they still haven't got one so I make a 5 minute phone call to BT and get my MAC code.

    Now why couldn't they do that?????

    I just spoke to NJP they say my line has been active for over an hour now but when i check my router it says it is still disconnected so i tried another router and get the same thing.

    You changed the user name and password and any other settings that need changing???

    Yes keep getting authentication failure when i get onto the router it says it is in a disconnected state my other router rejects the user name and password.

    Interestingly when i looked this AM it was showing an up and downstream rate but wouldnt connect.

    The username looks wrong though [EMAIL="xxx.xxx.redten@surfax"]xxx.xxx.redten@surfax[/EMAIL] (there is no .com or anything after surfmax - that right?) Also I had to change something from LLC to VC (says VCmux on the letter) - so found something that looked like that and changed it - might change it back this PM and see if it works. Dont really know what I am doing LOL!
  • Has anyone kept a copy of the original offer and/or terms and conditions? (even a copy of the original web page?) We need some proof that they have amended the contract terms, if they insist on the 2gb monthly limit.
