    Latest info from clode "I can confirm that the service provided by Fat Cat Communications is unlimited and unrestricted." Obviously must be another Fatcat!, as my connection is currently at 4.7mbs.(exchange is only a mile away!)

    Any idea whose providing the backbone service for this as I thought NJP had cut them off for non-payment ??

    I emailed every Clode address on deadten.co.uk giving them 10 days until I filed for a day trip to court unless the contract was terminated (with no penalties blah blah) and a refund of monies taken for service never received. Low and behold I got a reply the next day from their CS department saying OK:eek:

    I was a November 06 sign-up that never even got transferred to NJP when the walled garden went up. I think being one of the early sign-ups and not getting transferred to NJP (that's a big fat breach of contract right there) maybe had something to do with it. Either that or the deal I made with a certain gentleman dressed all in red helped a lot;)

    Needless to say I won't be cracking open the bubbly until I have written proof in me hands!

    Pre-March Black Tuesday, I received a rock solid 8192kbps unrestricted connection with a consistent download speed of 7500kbps from Redten via BT Wholesale backbone and got a usable sub 100ms ping to the Western USA onto the UT gaming clan server I'm a member of, European site's returned sub 25ms Pings
    I had zero complaint of service received, in fact I highly recommended them :eek:


    Post-March Black Tuesday, I'm now receiving a highly restricted 7616kbps connection
    with a highly fluctuating download speed of between 296kbps & 1546kbps from Redten via Clode's Virtual ISP Fatcat running on NJP via Murphx via BT. That constantly drops out forcing reconnection, the drop out is due solely to Redten/Fatcat/Clode/NJP/Breathe/Murphx dropping the connection from their end!!
    Ping times are horrific at 700+ms to
    Western USA and 250+ inside the UK :eek:

    I'm more than happy to see these idiots bought to justice but like every other customer who's posted on here at least, I just want to be rid of this whole sorry saga & get on with my life without all the stress & hassle that CLODE & REDTEN have caused me.
    The second I get a MAC it's going straight back to BT the very people I signed up to provide my ADSL via REDTEN. If R10 had just been an unheard of flyby night ISP without the backing of BT/LG/MS/Belkin etc etc etc then regardless of what was on offer I would NOT have signed up.
    I based my descision to go with R10 on the whole package and more importantly WHO was providing it.

    Sorry for the rant all but I'm still waiting to get out :mad:
