    Save the FatCat communication as it claims that the contract is unchanged!
    Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

    I have sent letters to clode as per the deadten website, rejectingthe service when I was transferred to njp. I finally got a phone call this week from Clode stating that no breach had taken place and so no negotiation to settle the account would take place. Their stance is that Fatcat solves everything. I can have my mac code but I have to pay the full balance owing on the account.
    I also now cannot access the members area of fast4. I guess now my only option is the court route.

    see they are getting off to a good start with the press.

    I think the ISPreview website picked up the story through a post of mine on their forum which directed them to the problems faced by all of you, who then posted their own story and a follow up on Fatcat Internet later. Hence the quote in all the news stories to this forum. See what knowing the right contacts can do. ;)

    (Might also wonder why I can't access the NJP Secure Members Console now too, even after receiving my MAC for Be Broadband, they sent me an message which I now can't access. Worth noting that the Secure Members Console moved for me to Breathe, as per the merger with NJP I mentioned a while ago).

    I've had a few people contact me directly that seem to be struggling to get Clode to take responsibility and offer any sort of decent settlement offer. They seem to want to go to Court now, strange after all the settlement deals of last week.

    Straight from FatCat Internets Fair Usage Policy,
    =====================================
    Please note we have a collected pot of bandwidth and that is shared amongst our Customers. Hence if some Customer abuse the fair usage policy that we shall have no option but to restrict the download for those Customers. If you don't use Peer-to-Peer or file-sharing software it is unlikely you will ever be affected by this Fair-Usage Policy.
    If you are affected, we will contact you by email to let you know that your usage is excessive and is affecting other customers, or you may be disconnected but an option will be offered to purchase more bandwidth if you wish to constantly send and download large files.
    ==========================================
    So they are saying they only have a certain bandwidth which is normal, if you download too much you will affect other users which is not fair (OK on a restricted service but not on an Unlimited service) but then they go on to say that you can purchase more bandwidth. How can this be they only have a certain amount available, there words not mine. Sounds like NJP Bolt on's to me. use more than your 15Gb and will charge you. hardly an unlimited service.

    Agree totally. Its capped as before in all but name. MurphX (if we assume they are still using them under Fatcat) charge too much to allow them to use more than the current usage limits we have now. Unlimited would be impossible whilst the "fair usage limit" is very limited.

    Thats basically what the guy from fatcat told me himself yesterday too. And as Redten did before he keeps referring me back to Clode to sort this out. Clode have point blank refused to accept any liabilty and have as much said see you in court saying the matter is now deadlocked.
