Your Broadband Fair Usage
At present you have used 27.57GB of bandwidth this month.
A small number (under 1%) of our customers use our service unfairly; taking up a disproportionate amount of bandwidth. By constantly downloading extremely large movie and data files, 24 hours per day, every day, they affect other people's service. If your usage exceeds what is fair for your product we will temporarily reduce your connection speed to ensure you don't affect other peoples service. This speed will restrict your ability to download large files as quickly as normal, but should not affect web browsing or email.
The status of your personal fair usage is displayed by the traffic light graphic above.
You will need to contact customer services to discuss changing your status back to green.
Green = Fair usage, thank you
Amber = Caution, please reduce your downloads
Red = Your speed is restricted
This is what I recieved on saturday, enforcing a fair use policy before it is even published, definitely not as per my original contract.
The clock is indeed ticking, hopefully signalling the end of such appalling abuse of customers0 -
I assume its the same for all paid in full up front customers, but I got cut off completely on Tuesday - walled garden message and opted for MAC - no connection since, login to NJP now diverting to Breathe login but gets rejected. No letter or email or anything from FatCat cos they are only notifying Clode customers presumably. So now totally out on a limb. Hopefully migration to Sky will go through next week.0

They need to listen to what is being said as these emails and t's&c's prove its not what we signed up to, and its not a good advert for new customers.
Heee
you should leave I migrated 1 month ago and can still log in at that address its says my next payment is due July 1 the card number they have is now dead but this forum thread is becoming my fave pastimeWho cares ??0 -
Just checked the status of my online claim. Clode have just acknowledged it (took 8 days). What happens next? The status goes to defended?0

Evening all,
I had that same bother trying to log into NJP ->Fatwat->Clode->Breathe today and found that if you use.......whatever.redten@surfmax as your username then you can login with the password red-idiots gave you
Apparenty I've managed to use 8Gb of bandwidth in 1 day!!!
I wouldn't give a monkeys normally but the damn router wasn't even switched on!
Oh the fun of having to write yet another letter to these bunch of incompetent muppets!

If you are being restricted, then patently the service is not unlimited! Make sure you save screenshots or print outs as evidence. The original Redten T & C cited excessive usage during peak times and not an overall cap (or is it limit).
I think Clode are digging themselves into a hole which is going to be more difficult for them to defend!Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

They keep changing it & 'we' just keep on finding it.....

Look here for the bandwidth monitor, after loging onto the new Breathe/Fatwat page at:

Nice one Hugo, you would think it were in their interest to have people monitor their bandwidth usage, so that with the unlimited service being offered, the customers could see that their usage may be a little on the high side, and throttle back themselves, so that it would save the staff at fatcat the effort of having to do it.
Still we all know how ungrateful we are, expecting to get what we pay for, when it is depriving all these fatcats of their new Rollers and Mansions.
Keep up the good work, I shall be doing a lot of traveling for the next couple of weeks, so you will not see too much of me, but before they get too excited in the enemy camps, I shall have my laptop with me, ( a good one I bought, not the free cr*p sold by deadten ), so will still be looking in as and when possible.
Get your Mac codes and move to a decent provider, you know it makes sense, this is how it will be until the end of the contract.
Tick Tock watch the clock.

They will then decide whether to defend it or not --they have until a certain date which you would have been notified by court of.
They will enter their defence and send copy to you or
they will state their intention to defend and send you a copy; and so far have also made an offer to you a the same time.
The hardest part is to sit and wait for their defense andor offer.
be very prepared to attend court and dont let them away with it.
If you wish help etc, contact me via pm.
Of note; trading standards howard --descibes the web site as iffy and indicative of those normally used by fraudulent web sites.
