What assets? redten had no assets except customer lists and details, even its logo had been hocked to online distribution.

fatcat only exists in the imagination and minds of Clode to try and protect their income flow from the redten customers.
This service can only fail to deliver as it did in January 2007; March 2008.
It was always designed to replace the PC sales lost when the HCI project ( responsible for big profits for watford electronics in 2004/2005 ) was shelved by the government leaving watford with massive supplies of PC equipment.

I admit I was one of those who were prepared to give fatcat a chance even if I was being slammed again, after all they are offering unlimited, and they even have a phone number that gets answered - that was until I got this pleasant surprise in my inbox.
Looks like I shall have to go down the legal route, I'd be grateful for any advice, help etc in how to set about filing a claim (I will be using the deadten resources also), naively I just hoped that Clode etc had been telling he truth (I know!), and I wouldn't have to go down this route, but there really is no other option now.
Needless to say I've never seen the fair usage policy, not been told how you can check your usage (why, it's unlimited for crying out loud!), nor have I seen the "traffic lights" that others have - complete farce!

Make sure you put the defendent as Clode Funding Limited (check your loan agreement papers to see who the agreement is with, if in doubt, make the claim against Clode Funding Limited and Clode Retail Finance Limited. The only difficult part of the procedure is putting in the reason for the claim, I used something like for Breach of contract including but not limited to:-- Failure to give notice of the contract change and its details and allowing you the opportunity to reject it.
- Failure to notify you of your consumer protection rights at the time of the change.
- Providing a lesser and degraded service.
- Instituting a cap and blockage on your broadband connection and access when your contract was for unlimited and uncapped service.
- failing to provide you with a service for a number of days in the month following their application of a cap on the service.
- Failing to provide any information on any of their proposed changes yet giving public statements to the press which outline a detrimental service.
- failing to provide reasonable duty and care in the provision of a service to you.

Just received this email from the bunch of turds, the cheek of it! I migrated the 28th of last month. I cancelled the direct debit straight away because these tossas are not to be trusted but they have my credit card details which I used to pay the connection charge. Well I've had a thought. Originally Redten welcomed business users, charging them the same rate + VAT. What if a business has now been slammed to Fatgit? Surely they are by default breaching the new T & C!Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

Put simply!
It appears that the Fatwat's & the Jezza's of this world seem to think they can do whatever the hell they like, whenever the hell they feel like it and to whoever they hell they want to and get away with it, absolutely scott free.
We have laws that the toothless quangos of this country will not support and we have thieving, lying, cheating pond-life running these supposed companies and then selling and re-selling themselves back to each other just to bypass the British Justice system over 'n' over again. And until this type of loophole is closed then more n more unjust corrupt companies will spring up then sell out to themselves whenever some law abiding customers start complaining of the way the companies are behaving.
As has already been proven by customers on this forum the only way to get out of this ridiculously stupid situation is to take these clowns to court & has already been mentioned Redclowns can't allow a single case to actually get to court as they know full well they are very much seriously in the wrong and are likely to be taken to the cleaners!
