Congratulations Nel - at last!!! Well done!

Well, I'm back on broadband, went with Tiscali eventually due to O2 and BE not serving our area, so far so good, was connected this afternoon, not quite as fast as I was hoping but unlimited and working, so I would like to thank all of the employees at Redten, Clode and NJP for making this a very happy and special day, rather than a mundane change ISP day, I hope you all get what you deserve!!!

To all on the forum I hope you all escape, and I will be lurking still if I can help anyone.

To escape you will have to file a claim in the courts or Clode will not take you seriously.

Good Luck

If you need any help you can contact me on redtenhelp@hotmail.co.uk as i now know all the circumstances surrounding this company. I am currently suing redten for breech of contract and a host of damages. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY!!!

just been told by Nick for £120 I can buy out my agreement, still got 18 months left on my contract.
What do you think, good deal or continue with court papers?
sounds like £120 to much to me. ask him to subtract 3 months of payments for the sub-standard service from the £120 and then it might be more appealing.

I have been reconnected at last. NJP site says 5gb limit, speed not too bad at moment. Only been on since Tuesday so will tell you what happens. I was one of the ones who paid for 3 years in one go, by cheque! I will be happy to get the remaining two years. We will see what happens then!!

To check what you have used first log into your home page

https://secure.njpservices.com/cust_myacc/files/maLogin.asp

Then from within that page enter:

http://secure.njpservices.com/cust_myacc/files/maAdsl_bandwidth.asp

That should allow you to see your bandwidth used

mine is 10.2 gb in spite of 20kb/s speed restriction

Have a nice day Y'all

Thanks Jaypee,

Didn't work for me though:confused:

It worked for me, according to their bandwidth monitor I currently owe them £8 for over usage!:rotfl:
Me thinks Clown ought to put that on the Lotto as they've got a better chance of some kind of return, then expect one of their ecstatically happy customers to cough up any more!

See you in court Clown.....if it gets that far!

It had my May usage as 22 GB and someone, I assume Redten or Clode owed them for 17GB excess usage or £34, when I hit 5GB in June they speed restricted me to 26Kb/s max (5th June I think it was) until my migration became effective today, even at that pathetic speed, I still clocked up 10.5GB for this month, so god knows how you guys are going to survive on 5GB/Month, as I hardly did anything on broadband except wait for things to load, still with a bit of luck R/T will be owing NJP another tenner for this month.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if everyone downloaded as much as possible off IPlayer for 24 hours, send the bandwidth usage through the roof:naughty:
