I can't believe the arragance of this man. When I read this I felt it was aimed at me as well (am I paranoid or what?). In March I ENJOYED:mad: 10+ days without broadband. In April I ENJOYED:mad: 6Gb of fantactic internet access and yes in May I ENJOYED:mad: 15 Gb of access. June is uknown as they took away the facility to see how much we ENJOYED:mad: our service.

My court papers also going in to this lot.:j

To check what you have used first log into your home page

https://secure.njpservices.com/cust_myacc/files/maLogin.asp

Then from within that page enter:

http://secure.njpservices.com/cust_myacc/files/maAdsl_bandwidth.asp

That should allow you to see your bandwidth used

mine is 10.2 gb in spite of 20kb/s speed restriction

Have a nice day Y'all

EDIT: as a side note - SO impressed with the customer services of O2 - had numerous texts confirming what was happening with my line, got my welcome pack very quickly too. had a few issues getting online (seemed my line didnt migrate immediately as when i ran speedtest it still said i was with Murphx which worried me a bit) but i called the customer service line and was sorted very quickly indeed. No bother. Such a refreshing change. There ARE good companies out there who do care about their customers, O2 being one of them. I cant recommend them enough.

I too have moved to O2, the line to be active tomorrow. The service so far is fantastic. There is no doubt as to where they are up to with their progress, texts confirmed with emails, things happen when they say it will - brilliant.

As said before, good luck to those still stuck with this shower. I will keep on watching the posts!

hey everyone....
I've been away for quite awhile, can someone please give me a brief update on what the current situation is, save me reading through all the posts to catch up..

thanks
Basically if you haven't had a reasonable settlement offer then start court proceedings, see the news section on http://www.deadten.co.uk on what to claim for

I'vre read through the news section but still not 100% sure what the points for claiming, I've pencilled in breach of service, lack of communication, degraded service, no new information on replacement service, the slamming to NJP.
I've still got to dig through my paperwork to find out how much I owe.
!!!!!!
is you don't want to reply here then PLEASE PM me.
Thanks
EDIT - sorry for being a pain

EDIT - sorry for being a pain
The section for the details of the complaint is not that large so I put something like,:-
Breach of Contract including but not limited to the following sections of the contract:-
4.1 We will endeavour to ensure that the Service provided under these Terms & Conditions shall be provided using reasonable skill & care.
7.5 Further to the above clause (clause 7.4) you agree that we may apply limits to your use of any Service, which we provide. We may do this for various reasons including, without limitation, if your use of the Services is not appropriate or fair or affects (or may affect) other users enjoyment of the
Service or is significantly different from the usage that we would expect from a typical consumer user. Other than as set out in clause 7.4, we will not apply a limit without giving you prior notice, but if we do so, you should be aware that this could result in us imposing on you: limits of access to services; or charges for usage which we regard as being beyond a ‘fair’ use of the Services.
12.10 If at anytime BT ceases to provide services to us such that we are unable to provide any of the Services, to you, we may immediately terminate our Contract with you. You will be given the option of retaining the PC, with no refund or cancellation of any finance agreement; or returning the PC and recei ving a refund for whole months remaining or cancellation of the credit agreement as applicable.
12.12 Should we increase the Charges or make any Contract modification , which is likely to be of material detriment to you we shall provide you with 14 days written notice and the increase or modification will take effect from the end of that period.

Not sure if all of this fits but pick which points you think affect you most by putting the wording at the top about including but not limited to you can always raise the other points if it does go to court, highly unlikely it will get that far but worth having as a back-up
