Be very careful all you prepaid users, above is my speed for today, and it has been like that since the 5th of the month, as I said earlier, doesn't matter to me, as I signed up for an unlimited dial up service from tiscali when we had the first outage, £9.99 per month, not truly unlimited but enough to work with, and I get a princely 46Kb/s. and I am out of here in a couple more days. The real danger for you guys is if they restrict you, you are screwed, even Clode cannot get them to increase the speed despite paying them for it as part of our deal. Redten according to OFCOM are still trading, therefore if you do get restricted, you can still file court proceedings against them. It may not do a lot of good but will cost them to defend it, or result in another CCJ against them, and so bringing their demise ever closer, as I am sure it is only a matter of time. Good Luck anyway

Have just sent a Notice of Imminent Action stating that if they don't terminate my loan agreement with no reflection on my credit file, and refund me with the balance of 3 months payments for no service I will be filing a claim with the Small Claims Court..... one last chance....0

I too have sent a notice of imminent action.
I am soo !!!!!! off about talking to Louise and she giving me a guarantee that full service will resume in 3-4 days and EVERYTIME having to call back only to find she is not in AGAIN. Never been able to talk to NICK. The whole situation is unbelievable, especially Ofcom and Trading Standards who say keep trying to talk to REDTEN.

He does seem to respond to these.0 -
You must have a golden touch - I've copied Nick on several e-mails that I've sent to Nicola without ever getting a response. I at least used to get delivery and read receipts, but even that's stopped now.
Am I the only person expecting a "major announcement" from Clode tomorrow, I've been promised this by both Louise and a guy from their technical support department (tel 0871 855 1058 - they do answer!)0 -

They have dried up on me too. I just keep being told that they are addressing things and it will be sorted out shortly. I am typing up my court file tonight. If no announcement tomorrow then they are in tomorrow night.:mad:0 -

Hi all
I have moved to orange on another line and am trying to talk to anyone at clode b4 court action.
Called last week after seeing Louise is now dealing with us only to be told not available but message would be given to her to call me.
After no call tried again monday at 10.00 to be told Louise off till thursday but may be working from home.
Called again at 3.30pm this time told nicola could help but she left at 3pm.
Called tuesday this time Nicola is sick and Louise in on Wednesday.
I asked to talk to Nick but he is not at his desk. I suggested he is either *hitting himself in a corner or *issing himself laughing but either way he was as much use as a chocolate teapot.
I have spoken to Biatta and Sharron this week and will call again tomorrow and see who else will lie to me.(sorry meant talk to me)
Ps . I have also done the recorded delivery letters and the emails to all the usual suspects. All I have had is promises of announcements tomorrow and I will get back to you.
I expect the cheque is in the post, I won't arrive in your oral aperture and take no notice of the man behind the curtain will all be part of Clowns next big announcement.0 -
I've been reading the posts here with interest, but my situation is slightly different so haven't posted till now. My broadband service was never migrated to NJP. I contacted RedTen many times to try and reconnect the service, but they have never succeeded in doing so. On 11th April a CEASE ORDER completed on my line allowing me to move to a new provider. Emails and letters to Clode have finally resulted in them saying today that THEIR technical support will contact me to arrange connection, and that they and redten arranged for reconnection within days of the disconnection. Surely no contact and no attempt to reconnect service for 3 months is "unsatisfactory" as per the Consumer Credit Act. Does anyone have any advice of what I should do next? Clode are refusing to admit any breach of contract.
That's exactly what happened to me. They appeared to have completely forgotten that I had a service from them and just decided to cut me off completely. My line was cleared on 2nd April and heard nothing from them whatsoever. I started my court proceedings at the weekend, I'm sick of these fcukers!!Dannii_B
