  • Would I be correct in thinking that the money claims' website is of no use to Redten customers based in Scotland? From skimming the site it seems to only cover England and Wales.

Your best bet would be to PM FC not I (FCI) who also lives in Scotland and filed papers up there.

Forum seems very quite recently, is there many people left out there still not settled ?
  • I'm just filling in my claim form. Is Clode funding ltd at the same address as Clode retail finance. Is it best to lodge both compainies as defendants?
  • I've been reading the posts here with interest, but my situation is slightly different so haven't posted till now. My broadband service was never migrated to NJP. I contacted RedTen many times to try and reconnect the service, but they have never succeeded in doing so. On 11th April a CEASE ORDER completed on my line allowing me to move to a new provider. Emails and letters to Clode have finally resulted in them saying today that THEIR technical support will contact me to arrange connection, and that they and redten arranged for reconnection within days of the disconnection. Surely no contact and no attempt to reconnect service for 3 months is "unsatisfactory" as per the Consumer Credit Act. Does anyone have any advice of what I should do next? Clode are refusing to admit any breach of contract.

Im still around - think most people have or are putting courts into action or waiting for the outcome so that's why its quiet.

Small claims court is the only option with these jokers, my line was disconnected by Redten, mainly because I was a pain in the AR*** but same situation after that as you, Issued court papers, Clode then agreed to a settlement, you need to show them that you are serious, see post #5624 on what to claim for and who to make it against, you can do it all online at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

They are both at the same address, check your loan agreement and make the claim against that company. Should say Clode Funding Limited.

Out of interest have any existing customers heard any news on the "announcement" yet?

My line successfully migrated to O2 on Friday/Saturday so now im away from this shambles for good. So happy to be so too! Had I hung around for a little longer to await the announcement i would still be waiting.

I do feel sorry for those of you who do take these people for their word. But at least they are digging themselves a much bigger hole to sit in now!!!

EDIT: as a side note - SO impressed with the customer services of O2 - had numerous texts confirming what was happening with my line, got my welcome pack very quickly too. had a few issues getting online (seemed my line didnt migrate immediately as when i ran speedtest it still said i was with Murphx which worried me a bit) but i called the customer service line and was sorted very quickly indeed. No bother. Such a refreshing change. There ARE good companies out there who do care about their customers, O2 being one of them. I cant recommend them enough.

Its been an eternity since I posted first posted the wholesale notice but still stuck with redten. Anyone have any advice for ppl paid up 3yrs in advance. Basically dont want to pay for 2 bband connections. I havent found any capping of my account other than the notice on the My account section. Have exceeded over the last 2months. Keep up the good work all!
