Hi,
I filled out my online court application last night and saved it. On the application you have the chance to put 2 defendents on. I have put Clode and Redten on, has anyone else done this? I am slightly worried that putting Redten on might let Clode off the hook slightly. What do you think?0 -
I would ignore Redten and put both Clode Funding & Clode Retail Finance on instead. Redten have to all intents and purposes disappeared and are obviously not bothered by CCJs.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

daddyman - i did both clode AND redten - made no difference to me - Redten got a CCJ and Clode settled.0

I have recieved a response from NICK in regards to my Notice of Action:
"Having considered the points you have raised I do not consider that either Redten or Clode have breached any of its obligations under your agreements and in light of this I cannot agree to terminate your contract or refund payments made.
According to our records you enjoy full use of the broadband service with over 16 gb of usage during May.
I will provide your MAC code if you require it however I must expressly warn you that if you chose to switch broadband providers you will remain liable for your debt to Clode.
If you fail to repay this debt as scheduled Clode will register a default at the credit agencies and pursue legal action for recovery.
Regards
Nick Davies"
So I will be filing my papers tonight - I've had enough - totally and completely.0 -
Nicks little fingers must be getting tired, I just received the exact same response as snorker to my last two emails!0

Have just sent a Notice of Imminent Action stating that if they don't terminate my loan agreement with no reflection on my credit file, and refund me with the balance of 3 months payments for no service I will be filing a claim with the Small Claims Court..... one last chance....0

Like a number of others, I have now reached a settlement with Clode with which I am happy. One of the terms of the settlement was to keep the details of it confidential, so I can't give any more info.
Thanks to everyone, although I haven't had anything worth posting on here for a while, the thread has been invaluable in keeping up with whats going on.
Good luck to the rest of you in your actions!0 -

That sucks - At least you have nothing to lose by putting the claim in!

I can't believe the arragance of this man. When I read this I felt it was aimed at me as well (am I paranoid or what?). In March I ENJOYED:mad: 10+ days without broadband. In April I ENJOYED:mad: 6Gb of fantactic internet access and yes in May I ENJOYED:mad: 15 Gb of access. June is uknown as they took away the facility to see how much we ENJOYED:mad: our service.
My court papers also going in to this lot.:j0
